Responsibilities:
<div><b>
The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for providing preventative maintenance and repairs to facility equipment, furnishings and property.</b></div><ul><li>
Assisting with the implementation of a facility wide maintenance program that ensures the safety and well-being of residents, staff and visitors</li><li>
Following established maintenance tasks according to policy and procedures and facility quality assurance standards</li><li>
Maintaining all daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semiannual and seasonal preventative maintenance schedules for equipment and property
</li><li>Performing unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed</li><li>
Coordinating with other departments work schedules to avoid interference and unnecessary interruption</li></ul><div></div><div><br>

Qualifications:

Maintenance Assistant Qualifications</b></div><ul><li>
Have a thorough understanding of the best maintenance practices</li><li>
The ability to read, write, speak and understand the English Language</li><li>
The possession of an active driver&rsquo;s license in the State of employment.</li><li>
Patience, a cheerful disposition, enthusiasm and a willingness to handle residents based on whatever maturity and physical level in which they are currently functioning</li><li>
A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required</li><li>
Have a Technical Schooling in electrical, plumbing, HVAC or mechanical is preferred but not required</li></ul></div><div></div>
