Responsibilities:
<div><b>
The</b><b> primary responsibility of the receptionist is to act as the facility&rsquo;s receptionist and be the primary access point for visitors, guests, etc. Duties span from answering phones, to providing clerical assistance, managing office equipment/supplies and assisting with the accounts payable processing.</b></div><ul><li>
Greeting and assisting visitors, residents, family members, sales representatives, etc. and giving directions/information.
</li><li>Answering phone calls, taking messages and deliver messages.
</li><li>Sorting incoming mail and process outgoing mail.
</li><li>Operating business office machines and telephone/paging system.
</li><li>Disbursing resident fund petty cash.
</li><li>Receiving/providing receipts for payments made to the facility.
</li><li>Assisting with administrative duties such as typing reports/correspondence, filing, posting accounts, etc.
</li><li>Maintaining front office/lobby area.
</li><li>Ensuring deliveries are picked up promptly.
</li><li>Assisting in listening and reporting resident/family complaints.
</li><li>Providing the purchase of employee/guest meal tickets.
</li><li>Taking inventory, order and disperse office/central nursing supplies.
</li><li>Assisting with the accounts payable process.
</li><li>Maintaining the confidentiality of all residents and their care.</li><li>
Driving residents to appointments or pick-ups</li></ul><br>

Qualifications:
<div><b>
Receptionist Qualifications</b></div><ul><li>
A high school diploma or GED.
</li><li>Have a thorough understanding of the principles of best receptionist practices.
</li><li>Knowledge on the use of personal computers, e-mail accounts, software programs such as Word and Excel and minor office machines such as faxes and copiers.</li><li>
Active Driver's License</li></ul><div>
Desired qualifications:
</div><ul><li>At least six (6) months in a clerical position or successfully completed secretarial science program from an accredited school/college.</li></ul></div><div></div>
