Job Title: Non-Emergency Medical Transport Driver &amp; AttendantLocation: TMC Transport, Vero Beach, FloridaJob Summary: TMC Transport in Vero Beach, Florida, is seeking a dedicated and reliable Non-Emergency Medical Transport Driver &amp; Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical appointments and facilities. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of driving experience, a clean driving record, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and service. Candidates must also pass a background check.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Safe Transport: Operate company vehicles, including vans and shuttles, to transport patients to and from medical appointments and facilities in a safe and timely manner.</li><li>Patient Care: Provide compassionate and courteous service to patients, ensuring a comfortable and secure ride. Assist patients with boarding and disembarking as needed.</li><li>Compliance: Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving. Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to safety protocols.</li><li>Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure vehicles are clean, organized, and in good working order. Conduct routine inspections and perform minor maintenance tasks as necessary.</li><li>Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and dispatch, providing updates and addressing any concerns or special needs.</li><li>Documentation: Accurately complete and submit any required documentation related to patient transport and vehicle maintenance.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Valid Driver&rsquo;s License: Must possess a valid Florida driver&rsquo;s license with a clean driving record.</li><li>Experience: 1-2 years of experience in commercial driving or a similar role, preferably with experience in non-emergency medical transport.</li><li>Driving Skills: Proven ability to safely operate various types of vehicles with a strong understanding of road safety and defensive driving techniques.</li><li>Customer Interaction: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with patients and their families.</li><li>Physical Capability: Ability to assist with the lifting and moving of patients or equipment as needed.</li><li>Background Check: Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check.</li><li>typical full-time work week will be 4 -6 days per week (one day being a weekend day) 10-12 hours per day as needed. You are welcome to take advantage of overtime, once available. Job SummaryThe NEMT Dispatcher &amp; Office Administrator plays a dual role in coordinating daily transportation operations while supporting administrative and office functions.
