Employer: TNTX, LLCJob Title: Service TechnicianReports to: Service ForemanDepartment: ServiceFLSA Status: Non ExemptTravel Required: NoneWork Schedule: ConsistentPurpose of Position: Under the supervision of the Shop Foreman, the Service Technician is responsible for performing maintenance on trucks from class 5 through class 8 vehicles and recreational vehicles per OEM and company guidelines.Supervises: N/AEssential Job Functions:&middot; Diagnoses and repairs various truck systems.&middot; Ensures that repairs are completed in a complete and accurate manner as per supervisor instructions.&middot; Maintains correct time punches and work order processes.&middot; Maintains efficiency standards and attendance policy required.&middot; Tags all parts required to follow warranty procedure.&middot; Keeps customer vehicle clean during repair process and after repairs are complete.&middot; Keeps work area clean and free of debris.&middot; Follows safety procedures.Required Skills/ Abilities:&middot; Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.&middot; Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.&middot; Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.&middot; Ability to calculate figures and amounts such discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.&middot; Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Preferred Education:&middot; High school diploma or general education degree (GED)&middot; Technical training educationPreferred Experience:&middot; One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.&middot; 6 month to one year welding and fabricating experience- desiredOther Preferred Qualifications:&middot; CDL License&middot; ASE certification a plus&middot; Freightliner certification&middot; Welding and Fabricating certificationsJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
