We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and technically skilled New Product Launch Quality Engineer, who will play a critical role in ensuring flawless execution of new product introductions within our automotive manufacturing environment. This position focuses on driving quality standards from concept through launch, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing robust processes to meet customer requirements. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled in quality planning and problem-solving to support zero-defect launches.</div>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Requirements:</b></h3><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in automotive quality.</li><li>
Minimum of three years in supplier quality or manufacturing quality roles.</li><li>
Proficiency with AIAG Core Tools including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and MSA.</li><li>
Familiarity with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.</li><li>
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as stamping, injection molding, and die casting.</li><li>
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&amp;T principles.</li><li>
Experience issuing and tracking Corrective Action Requests (CARs) and verifying effectiveness.</li><li>
Skilled in root cause analysis using 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone diagrams.</li><li>
Conduct supplier audits and monitor compliance with quality standards.</li><li>
Train suppliers on quality tools and processes including PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams.</li><li>
Utilize statistical methods such as CPK, Gauge R&amp;R, and SPC to monitor process capability.</li><li>
Commitment to continuous improvement through Kaizen and Toyota Production System (TPS) principles.</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and pivot tables.</li><li>
Strong communication and problem-solving skills with ability to travel to supplier locations as needed.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Preferred Qualifications:</b></h3><ul><li>
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma certification.</li><li>
Experience in supplier development and audit processes.</li><li>
Knowledge of customer-specific requirements for major OEMs such as Toyota and Ford.</li><li>
Familiarity with CMM programming, Design of Experiments (DOE), and statistical tools such as Minitab.</li><li>
Prior experience supporting zero-defect initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
