Tokyo Electron markets a wide range of semiconductor production equipment (SPE) products and provides outstanding service and support to semiconductor device manufacturers. Position Summary:<br>
TEL is seeking a summer intern with ab initio molecular dynamics (AIMD) expertise using CP2K software to work in the Surface Preparation Systems (SPS) Advanced Technology Group (ATG) located in Austin, Texas.</div><div><br>
Responsibilities:</div><ul><li>
Build models and run ab initio molecular dynamics simulations using CP2K.</li><li>
Modeling chemical reactions in gas/liquid phase, and solid-liquid interface using CP2K.</li><li>
Run DFT calculations on CP2K.</li><li>
Good communications skills are critical to the project assignment. Strong emphasis is placed on candidates that can find solutions to difficult problems. through structured project management while working in a team environment.</li></ul><div></div><div>
Qualifications:</div><ul><li>
The candidate should be pursuing a B.S. or M.S. or Ph.D. degree in engineering, physics, chemistry or equivalent field.</li><li>
Experience with CP2K software is required.</li><li>
Knowledge of ab initio molecular dynamics is required.</li><li>
Knowledge of quantum chemistry calculations is desirable.</li><li>
Knowledge of modeling chemical reactions is desirable.</li><li>
Experience working in a Linux cluster environment is desirable.</li><li>
Experience with LAMMPS is desirable.</li><li>
Experience with GAUSSIAN is desirable.</li><li>
Experience with programming languages such as MATLAB, python, C/C++, etc. is desirable.</li></ul><div></div><div>
