 Job Duration: This position is temporary and expected to run from approximately May to September.
The Toledo Zoo &amp; Aquarium is currently seeking a Seasonal Warehouse Assistant. This role will consist of handling deliveries, inspecting and stocking merchandise, managing inventory and preparing reports and records. You&rsquo;ll also help maintain a clean and efficient warehouse, and interact with vendors, drivers, and team members. Being able to operate a variety of equipment, including but not limited to, trucks, forklift, stock ladders, computer, pallet lift and more is key. Whether it&rsquo;s running errands, assisting with special events, or contributing to daily logistics, your attention to detail and strong work ethic will make a big impact.
This position reports to the Warehouse Manager, is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and eligible for overtime pay for hours worked over forty (40) in a work week.
Minimum Training &amp; Qualifications:<ul><li>
Must be 21+ years of age.</li><li>
Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license and be insurable by the fleet insurance carrier.</li><li>
Candidates must have the physical ability to lift 45 pounds, climb up and down ladders, and work on their feet for 8 hours a day.</li><li>
Ability to climb in and out of trucks in all climate types including heat, cold, rain, and snow.</li><li>
Work schedules may include weekdays, weekends, and some holidays.</li><li>
