Position Overview<div>
Tonix Pharmaceuticals is seeking a motivated Associate Scientist with a strong foundation in cell biology and immunology to join our dynamic R&amp;D team. The ideal candidate is a recent graduate with hands-on laboratory experience and a demonstrated passion for therapeutic development, especially in immunological and cell-based assays.</div>
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Perform immunological studies such as flow cytometry and cell-based immunological readout to study responses to vaccines, autoimmune disorders, and oncology processes.</li><li>
Design and perform cell culture experiments using both cancer cell lines and primary human cell lines.</li><li>
Execute and optimize co-culture functional assays for immunotherapy applications (e.g., TCR, bispecific evaluation).</li><li>
Perform ELISA, flow cytometry, HLA quantification, RT-qPCR, and other immunological and molecular assays.</li><li>
Conduct RNA extraction, gel electrophoresis, and cell viability assays</li><li>
Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data using GraphPad Prism and R.</li><li>
Maintain detailed lab records and contribute to scientific reports and presentations.</li><li>
Collaborate across teams to support preclinical therapeutic development and assay validation</li></ul>
Qualifications<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in biology or related field (e.g., Immunology, Molecular Biology).</li><li>
Proven experience with mammalian cell culture, immune cell manipulation, and molecular techniques.</li><li>
Research internship or academic lab experience in immunological assays and cell-based studies.</li><li>
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.</li><li>
Passion for working in a collaborative, fast-paced biotech or pharmaceutical environment.</li></ul>
Preferred<ul><li>
Experience with flow cytometry or cryopreservation methods.</li><li>
Exposure to immune profiling, macrophage polarization, or cytokine assessment.</li><li>
Familiarity with scientific writing, poster presentations, or manuscript development.</li></ul>
