</h2>SUMMARY
As an Operations Finance Intern at TopBuild, you will gain hands-on experience within a dynamic finance organization and work alongside industry-leading professionals. This internship offers exposure to advanced analytics initiatives that support business operations and drive strategic decision-making. You will be an integral part of the team, collaborating on meaningful projects and learning from experienced mentors who will guide you throughout the program. In addition, you will have opportunities to interact with various operations, corporate, and finance teams, providing a comprehensive view of how finance supports the business.

</li></ul>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
<ul><li>Contribute to the success of our 2026 business performance.
</li><li>Work as a member of a team and build positive working relationships with team members in functional business area.
</li><li>Contribute to projects that advance our finance analytics capabilities by designing and implementing dashboards in Power BI and similar tools to deliver actionable business insights.
</li><li>Participate in the building and presenting of ad hoc financial or operational reporting and KPI analysis.
</li><li>Partner with Finance Managers and the Director of Finance to develop presentations for operations leadership.
</li><li>Provide insight into business segment performance through analysis of regions, branch, customer, channel &amp; product margin and mix analysis.
</li><li>Enhance your knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities such as job shadowing across finance-related teams, visiting construction sites or local branches, and participating in career mentoring activities.
</li><li>Build your project management and execution skills by balancing deliverables and adding value to the organization
</li></ul>EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
Minimum Degree: Currently pursuing a bachelor&rsquo;s degree at a four-year accredited institution as a Junior or Senior, majoring in Finance or a related field, with a concentration in Corporate Financial Analytics.
Demonstrated academic success (GPA of 3.3 or higher).
Skills and Qualifications:
<ul><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required; advanced knowledge preferred.
</li><li>Experience with financial analytics and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
</li><li>Interest in automation within reporting and analytics is highly desirable.
</li><li>Attention to detail &ndash; thorough and accurate in completing tasks.
</li><li>Analytical thinking &ndash; skilled at interpreting data and solving problems logically.
</li><li>Dependability &ndash; reliable and accountable for meeting commitments.
</li><li>Adaptability and flexibility &ndash; comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
</li><li>Team-oriented mindset &ndash; collaborates effectively to achieve business and team goals.
</li><li>Time management &ndash; able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

<ul><li>Work is performed in a typical office environment and may require standing, bending, and sitting for long periods of time.

</li></ul>Compensation Range:
$13.00 - $30.00
The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
