What You&rsquo;ll Do</b></h2><p>
In this role, you will be responsible for:</p><ul><li>
Own and manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for Legal Compliance initiatives, from intake through execution and completion</li><li>
Partner closely with the General Counsel to prioritize departmental initiatives and align resources against business needs</li><li>
Develop, implement, and continuously improve project management systems, workflows, and tracking mechanisms for the Legal team</li><li>
Coordinate cross-functional legal projects by aligning internal stakeholders, outside counsel, and leadership on timelines, deliverables, and expectations</li><li>
Act as the central point of contact for project status, proactively communicating updates, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders</li><li>
Manage complex scheduling, prioritization, and bandwidth planning across multiple concurrent legal and compliance initiatives</li><li>
Identify operational inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions to improve speed, quality, and consistency of legal work</li><li>
Support attorneys with key legal initiatives, including due diligence, regulatory filings, and document preparation, as needed</li><li>
Ensure critical deadlines are met by tracking milestones, flagging risks early, and driving accountability across stakeholders</li><li>
Maintain and organize legal documentation, project records, and compliance materials with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality</li><li>
Assist in managing relationships and workflows with outside counsel, including coordination of deliverables and timelines</li><li>
Build and maintain reporting dashboards or status trackers to provide visibility into legal team performance and project progress</li><li>
Contribute to the development of best practices and standard operating procedures within the Legal Compliance function</li><li>
Operate as a trusted partner to legal leadership, exercising sound judgment and discretion in handling sensitive matters</li><li>
Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes, or outcomes&mdash;not just following existing playbooks</li></ul><p>

How This Role Drives the Business</b></h2><p>
We are looking for a Senior Corporate Legal Assistant to support and coordinate project management for our Legal Compliance Department. This role will act as a force multiplier for the General Counsel, driving execution, prioritization, and coordination across a wide range of legal and compliance initiatives.</p><p>
You will own the planning and tracking of departmental priorities, ensuring work is executed efficiently, deadlines are met, and stakeholders are aligned. This includes coordinating closely with internal teams, senior leadership, and outside counsel.</p><p>
While the primary focus is on project management and operations, you will also support attorneys on key initiatives such as due diligence, regulatory filings, and other legal projects as needed.</p><p>
This role is highly cross-functional and requires strong judgment, organization, and communication skills.</p><p>

Qualifications</b></h2><p>
Required:</p><ul><li>
10+ years of experience as a corporate legal assistant, paralegal, or in legal operations</li><li>
5+ years of experience managing complex projects or workflows</li><li>
Experience supporting senior legal leadership (e.g., General Counsel, Managing Partners)</li><li>
Proven ability to manage and prioritize a high volume of concurrent projects</li><li>
Strong understanding of legal processes, workflows, and risk considerations</li><li>
Exceptional organizational and timeline management skills</li><li>
Ability to operate independently and translate high-level direction into structured plans</li><li>
Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or similar)</li><li>
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree</li></ul><p>
Nice to Have:</p><ul><li>
Experience in a high-growth or fast-paced environment</li><li>
Familiarity with tools such as Jira and Ninety EOS</li><li>
Project management certification (PMP or similar)</li><li>
Based in or able to work within Pacific or Mountain time zones</li><li>
Strong communication skills&mdash;written and verbal</li><li>
Ability to think critically, prioritize effectively, and execute with speed</li><li>
Experience in a fast-growing or high-volume environment</li><li>
Comfort with ambiguity and evolving systems</li><li>
