Position Summary</h3>
We are looking for a bilingual Industrial Designer with strong technical and design skills to support our metal fabrication projects. This position involves creating detailed 3D models and drawings, coordinating with production and suppliers, and ensuring all designs meet quality and delivery standards.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>
Design and develop 3D models and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks (sheet metal and weldments).</li><li>
Generate work orders, bill of materials, and part cut lists.</li><li>
Conduct on-site measurements and update design data as needed.</li><li>
Collaborate with production, suppliers, and customers to ensure accurate project execution.</li><li>
Support cost estimation and quoting activities.</li><li>
Monitor progress to ensure technical and quality compliance.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Qualifications</h3><ul><li>
Authorization to work in the U.S. (valid work permit or status required).</li><li>
Bilingual English/Spanish (required).</li><li>
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.</li><li>
Minimum 1 year of experience in the metal fabrication industry.</li><li>
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks (sheet metal &amp; weldments).</li><li>
Strong understanding of technical drawings, materials, and mechanical components.</li><li>
Experience using measuring tools (tape measure, caliper).</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Preferred</h3><ul><li>
GD&amp;T (Geometric Dimensioning &amp; Tolerancing).</li><li>
Experience with FEA and CNC processes.</li><li>
Certifications such as CSWA or CSWP (weldments, sheet metal).</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">

Position Summary</h3>
We are seeking an innovative, organized, and detail-oriented Design Engineer to support the design and production of our metal fabrication projects. This role is key to ensuring drawing accuracy, data collection and updates, project tracking, and on-time delivery - as well as effective communication with production teams, clients, and suppliers.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>
Create and release work orders for production and purchasing.</li><li>
Develop production drawings with tolerances and detailed notes, as well as fabrication drawings.</li><li>
Monitor the fabrication process to ensure quality and schedule compliance.</li><li>
Perform data collection and measurements on products inside and outside the plant as needed.</li><li>
Create 3D models of parts and assemblies.</li><li>
Collaborate with end users to define designs and provide effective solutions.</li><li>
Design, propose, and select appropriate materials for new projects.</li><li>
Prepare bills of materials (BOM) and sheet cutting lists.</li><li>
Assist in material quotations.</li><li>
Conduct analysis and closely track assigned projects according to committed deadlines.</li><li>
Organize and plan activities efficiently.</li><li>
Maintain direct communication with internal staff and suppliers.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Requirements</h3><ul><li>
Authorization to work in the United States (valid work permit or legal status required).</li><li>
Bilingual English/Spanish (reading, writing, and verbal communication).</li><li>
Bachelor's degree in Design, Engineering, or related field.</li><li>
Minimum of 1 year of experience in design or technical drafting within the metal-mechanical industry.</li><li>
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks (sheet metal and welded assemblies).</li><li>
Knowledge of fasteners, engineering materials, blueprint reading, and metal profiles.</li><li>
Knowledge of technical drawing standards.</li><li>
Experience using measuring tools such as tape measure and caliper.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Plus</h3><ul><li>
Knowledge of GD&amp;T (Geometric Dimensioning &amp; Tolerancing).</li><li>
Experience with SolidWorks simulation (finite elements) and CNC machining.</li><li>
Certifications: CSWA, CSWP (Weldments, Sheet Metal).</li><li>
Additional experience in quotations, project management, urgent requests, and complex fabrication.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
