We invest in training, support, and team development</li></ul>Responsibilities<ul><li>Walking dogs and providing exercise</li><li>Feeding pets, refreshing water bowls, and cleaning litter boxes</li><li>Administering medications when needed</li><li>Picking up after pets and keeping pet areas tidy</li><li>Communicating with pet parents and sending detailed visit updates through our mobile app</li><li>Participating in occasional team training and local marketing activities, which are optional but encouraged</li></ul>Schedule and AvailabilityWe are primarily hiring candidates with availability for evening shifts (approximately 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM) and full-day weekend coverage, as these are the times when many clients need care.Applicants who also have additional availability during the day, including mornings or middays, are especially valuable, and we are happy to consider candidates who can support daytime visits as well.Some holiday availability is required, as these are our busiest times for clients.This is a year-round employee position, not seasonal or summer-only work.Requirements<ul><li>Experience caring for pets, either personal or professional, is helpful but not required. Training is provided</li><li>Strong sense of timeliness, dependability, and accountability</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision</li><li>Physically able to walk briskly for at least 30 minutes and lift up to 50 pounds</li><li>Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions</li><li>Smartphone with reliable data access and comfort using multiple apps</li><li>Access to a home computer and basic technology proficiency</li><li>Reliable, insured transportation</li><li>Availability to work some holidays</li><li>Minimum 6-month commitment</li></ul>Compensation and Benefits<ul><li>Starting pay of $13.50 per hour</li><li>100 percent of tips, typically $1 to $5 per hour</li><li>Insurance coverage</li><li>Paid online and on-the-job training</li><li>Opportunities for growth and promotion for dedicated team members</li><li>Opportunities to contribute additional skills such as social media, writing, or administrative support</li></ul>How To ApplyStep 1.
