 About the Role:
 
 
 
 Total Safety is seeking a proactive
 
 Safety Officer
 
 to support
 
 Day-to-Day (D-t-D), Turnaround (TAR), and project activities
 
 within the oil &amp; gas sector. The role focuses on implementing QHSE programs, ensuring compliance, and maintaining a strong safety culture across onshore worksites.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 &bull; Support Site Coordinator and Supervisors in implementing the
 
 QHSE Management System
 
 
 
 &bull; Ensure contractors and personnel comply with company and client HSE policies and standards
 
 
 &bull; Implement and monitor safety measures during
 
 D-t-D, TAR, and project activities
 
 
 
 &bull; Identify, assess, and document hazards, risks, and control measures
 
 
 &bull; Conduct and document emergency response drills and monitor workforce readiness
 
 
 &bull; Execute HSE inspections required for D-t-D and TAR activities
 
 
 &bull; Enforce
 
 Permit to Work (PTW)
 
 procedures on site
 
 
 &bull; Oversee
 
 Stop Work Authority (SWA)
 
 and safety observation programs
 
 
 &bull; Supervise temporary work areas and high-risk activities
 
 
 &bull; Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials
 
 
 &bull; Maintain internal and external HSE reporting
 
 
 &bull; Provide HSE guidance to operations to ensure full compliance with site/plant requirements
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Requirements:
 
 
 
 &bull; Minimum
 
 3 years&rsquo; experience in oil &amp; gas HSE roles
 
 
 
 &bull;
 
 NEBOSH IGC &ndash; Mandatory
 
 
 
 &bull; Experience working in
 
 confined spaces
 
 and high-risk industrial environments
 
 
 &bull; Physically fit; able to work
 
 under direct sun and hot weather conditions
 
 
 
 &bull; No height phobia
 
 
 &bull; Good communication skills in
 
 English
