Job OverviewThe Town of Buxton is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Public Safety Dispatcher position. Both certified and non-certified candidates are encouraged to apply.Dispatchers serve as the critical link between the public and emergency response services. In this role, you will be the calm, steady voice people rely on during emergencies&mdash;coordinating police, fire, and rescue responses with speed and accuracy.This position involves operating advanced communication systems, managing both routine and emergency calls, and monitoring public safety radio traffic.
