Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Deputy Tax Collector/Selectmen Administrator to join our municipal team. This dynamic role combines essential responsibilities in tax collection, financial, and administrative support for local government operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong financial acumen, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for serving the community. In this position, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate tax processing, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting the overall efficiency of municipal functions.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist in the collection of property taxes, assessments, and other municipal revenues with precision and integrity.</li><li>Assist in the preparation and reconciliation of financial statements, payroll, accounts payable, and general ledger accounts using accounting software such as QuickBooks.</li><li>Provide essential Municipal administrative and clerical support for the Selectmen to ensure smooth office operations, managing correspondences, scheduling appointments, preparing reports and greeting visitors, acting as primary point of contact.</li></ul>Hours:M 10am-6pmT 11am-4pmW 12pm-6pmTh 10am-4pmHealthcare benefits can be discussedPay: From $30.00 per hourExpected hours: 24.0 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>457(b)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
