Maintenance EngineerJob DescriptionTownePlace Suites is seeking a full-time Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Houston, TX. Please see additional details below&quot;Responsibilities<ul><li>Responsible for the maintenance of all buildings and grounds within the complex, including but not limited to: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, pool, and HVAC.</li><li>Responsible for the installation, repair, maintenance and replacement of all building equipment.</li><li>Responsible for the inspection of all buildings and grounds daily to ensure that all electrical systems are functioning properly.</li><li>Responsible for identifying and reporting any building maintenance needs that may be required over the phone or in person.</li><li>Responsible for completing any required maintenance reports on a timely basis as requested by management.</li><li>Responsible for completing any required work orders on an as-needed basis as directed by management.</li></ul>Qualifications: &middot;High School Diploma or equivalent required. Technical or higher degree preferred. &middot;2+ years of related experience in similar maintenance position required. &middot;CPO and HVAC certification preferred. &middot;Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly; stand for prolonged periods of time; walk for prolonged periods of time; use hands to handle or feel objects or tools; reach, bend, stoop, kneel or crouch; talk or hear effectively; and look at objects closely enough to distinguish details.Job Type: Full-timePay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Referral program</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Are there any days of the week that you cannot work?</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Property maintenance: 2 years (Required)</li><li>HVAC Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Certified Pool Operator (Preferred)</li><li>HVAC Certification (Preferred)</li></ul>Shift availability:<ul><li>Day Shift (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
