HR Intern

Education and Experience:&middot; Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)&middot; At least 5 years&rsquo; post qualification experience.&middot; Experience of Big 4 Firm is a must.&middot; Experience in the insurance industry is preferable.Key Responsibilities (Functional Competencies) &middot; Manage finance function of the Company&middot; Review and design the finance processes&middot; Ensure effectiveness of finance services to stakeholders&middot; Assist management in financial decision making&middot; Advise management on financial implications of projects and initiatives&middot; Review monthly MIS, budgets, financial statements&middot; Liaise with external auditors, banks, consultants&middot; Review financial risks and advise management for corrective actions&middot; Review periodic solvency position and take necessary actions&middot; Manage working capital of the Company and ensure efficiency of funds utilized&middot; Tax Planning and compliance&middot; Review BOD meeting papers&middot; Participate in BOD meetings and present business performance&middot; Manage investment portfolio in accordance with Investment Policy and Guidelines&middot; Ensure that all team members possess the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively by providing ongoing coaching, mentoring, and skill development opportunities to each team member.Skills (Behavioral Competencies)&middot; Strong Leadership&middot; Conflict Management&middot; Analytical thinking&middot; Attention to detail&middot; Effective communicationInter dependencies / Key Relationships:Internal: Underwriting, Claims, Reinsurance, Procurement departmentsExternal: Co-Insurers, Re-insurers, Vendors, Auditors, Tax Advisors, ActuariesJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
