<div><div><div><div><div><p>Texas-based statewide systems integration company seeks a controls automation engineer or technician for municipal water/wastewater Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, electrical, instrumentation, and controls projects throughout Texas. Services include design, project management, PLC &amp; HMI programming, deployment, testing, and commissioning with some service and technical support for existing customers in the SCADA industry.</p>
<p>
Duties:</p>
<ul>
<li>Serve as the water process expert for Trac-N-trol</li>
<li>Corporate liaison for local water/wastewater utilities on needs for system upgrades, service, and project support</li>
<li>Provides system programming and completes acceptance tests.</li>
<li>Maintains systems by problem-solving, testing, diagnosing problems, and completing repairs on electronic control panels, radio communication devices, computer systems and networks, and software.</li>
<li>Maintains records by documenting original system upgrades and repairs; completes work orders for invoicing by central office. Complete project management documentation.</li>
<li>Complies with regulations by adhering to codes, specifications, and rules; reads blueprints and technical bulletins.</li>
<li>Keeps company-provided installation &amp; service equipment and vehicles operating by following operating instructions to meet job duty requirements.</li>
<li>Updates job knowledge by completing recertification, taking educational opportunities, and reading technical publications.</li>
<li>Provides technical support for outside sales missions by completing related tasks as needed by area sales representatives.</li>
</ul>
<p>Skills and Qualifications:</p>
<ul>
<li>Water treatment systems (desalination, water reuse, industrial treatment)</li>
<li>Experience with any SCADA applications and HMI software (Ignition, VTScada, Wonderware, and iFix).</li>
<li>Experience with Allen-Bradley, Modicon, SCADAPack, Siemens, and GE PLCs.</li>
<li>Up to 50% travel may be required out of our office located in Georgetown, TX</li>
<li>Customer service orientation, professionalism, exemplary ethical conduct, technical understanding, system administration, problem-solving, communications</li>
<li>Must be mature, dependable, and thorough</li>
<li>Excellent references, driving record, and a drug test are required</li>
</ul>
