Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and technically-skilled E-commerce Data Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and uploading product information, pricing, and other data to our e-commerce platform. This role requires a combination of technical expertise in handling CSV files, a good understanding of HTML for product descriptions, and a meticulous approach to ensure data accuracy on our website.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare, format, and manage product data using CSV files for bulk uploads.</li><li>Upload and update product listings, including titles, descriptions, images, pricing, and inventory levels, on our e-commerce platform.</li><li>Utilize basic HTML to format product descriptions and ensure a clean, user-friendly presentation on the front-end.</li><li>Perform regular data quality checks to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data uploads or product display.</li><li>Collaborate with the marketing and e-commerce teams to ensure product data is accurate, complete, and optimized for search and customer experience.</li><li>Maintain and organize data files and documentation for future reference.</li></ul>Qualifications and Skills<ul><li>Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, or a related field is required.</li><li>Experience: Proven experience working with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce).</li><li>Technical Skills:</li><li>Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, with advanced knowledge of formulas, VLOOKUP, and functions for manipulating data in CSV files.</li><li>Solid understanding of basic HTML for formatting text and content.</li><li>Familiarity with data upload processes and tools for e-commerce websites.</li><li>Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and a keen eye for detail are essential.</li><li>Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.</li></ul>Preferred Skills<ul><li>Experience with data scraping or data extraction tools.</li><li>Basic understanding of SEO principles for product listings.</li><li>Familiarity with image editing software for basic modifications.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From Rs50,000.00 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>This is an onsite job with timings from 12 pm to 9 pm, monday to friday.
