Pay rate:

$27.00+ per hour

Job Summary

Maintain and repair construction vehicles, heavy equipment, and class A road trucks.

Essential Functions
<ul>
<li>Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance skills are required.</li>
<li>Knowledge in electrical, hydraulic, engine, transmission, and AC systems.</li>
<li>Operate and inspect heavy equipment to diagnose defects.</li>
<li>Read and understand repair, operators, and troubleshooting manuals and schematics.</li>
<li>Must fabricate and weld.</li>
<li>May perform other duties as assigned by Superintendent.</li>
</ul>
Job Requirements and Qualifications

Education:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or GED.</li>
</ul>
Training Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Trans Ash will provide the necessary safety training for the job.</li>
</ul>
Experience:
<ul>
<li>Must have 5-10 years of experience.</li>
</ul>
Other information:
<ul>
<li>Must have own tools.</li>
<li>Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting.</li>
<li>Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., work in all types of weather, walk, and stand for extended periods of time</li>
<li>Must be physically able to perform the work outside in hot and/ or cold weather conditions.</li>
<li>Must be able to work in a construction environment.</li>
<li>Must be able to walk slopes and uneven terrain.</li>
<li>Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license.</li>
<li>Be at least 18 years of age.</li>
<li>Must be able to successfully pass a drug test, MVR, and background check.</li>
