Full-Time Role and Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize equipment following biological/holistic protocols</li><li>Assist the doctor chairside for all procedures, including CEREC, crown/bridge, extractions, implants, ozone therapy, and LPRF</li><li>Take diagnostic X-rays and CBCT scans (as applicable)</li><li>Maintain strict infection control procedures aligned with SMART and biological dentistry standards</li><li>Provide pre-op and post-op instructions with clarity and compassion</li><li>Document procedures accurately in Open Dental</li><li>Manage inventory, restocking, operatory setup, and ordering needs</li><li>Support patient comfort throughout their appointment with warmth and professionalism</li><li>Assist with laboratory cases, impressions, digital scans, and appliance coordination</li><li>Help maintain an efficient daily schedule and ensure a smooth flow between operatories</li></ul>

Transcend Dental Health, a leading holistic and biological dental practice in Round Rock, Texas, is excited to announce an opportunity for an Associate Dentist to join our team on a part-time basis. This position is ideal for those passionate about providing exceptional dental care with a whole-body approach in a nurturing and patient-focused environment.
The part-time Associate Dentist role involves working directly with patients to provide superior dental care and consultations while maintaining our commitment to holistic practices. Please note that this is not a remote job, and the candidate will be required to work on-site in our Round Rock, Texas, location.<h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Duties and Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>
Perform initial dental assessments and evaluate patient dental health.</li><li>
Develop comprehensive treatment plans in accordance with holistic dental practices.</li><li>
Perform clinical dental procedures such as extractions, fixing or removing damaged teeth, and filling cavities.</li><li>
Operate and interpret dental radiography (X-rays).</li><li>
Utilize CEREC technology for crown and bridge work to ensure high-quality restorative treatments.</li><li>
Prescribe and administer medications as needed to manage dental and post-procedural pain, ensuring alignment with holistic health practices.</li><li>
Measure and fit dental appliances with precision, ensuring patient comfort and appliance effectiveness.</li><li>
Maintain patient records with accuracy, detailing all procedures performed and treatments planned.</li><li>
Refer patients to dental specialists when conditions exceed the practice scope.</li><li>
Stay current with advances in dentistry, particularly within holistic and biologically based practices.</li><li>
Support and educate patients on the importance of overall health in dental care and practices.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Requirements</h2><ul><li>
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited institution.</li><li>
Valid state dental license and malpractice insurance.</li><li>
Proficiency in modern dental technology, including digital radiography and CEREC equipment.</li><li>
Minimum of two years of relevant dental experience.</li><li>
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building trust and rapport with patients.</li><li>
Commitment to continuous education and training in holistic dental practices.</li><li>
Ability to work part-time hours at our Round Rock, Texas, location.</li><li>
A keen interest in biological dentistry and a patient-centered approach to healthcare.</li></ul></div>
