We are hiring a Community Relations Counselor who is responsible for working with the Director of Community Relations to successfully rent units. Supports the Director of Community Relations in generating inquiries, handling prospects, conducting tours, entering and utilizing data entered into the lead management system, and other activities necessary to achieve budgeted census goals.
This role pays $55,000 to $60,000 per year DOE , and offers fantastic benefits including Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(k) with matching after one-year, generous PTO, and promotional opportunities! We are excited to speak with you about this fantastic role at The Rivers.
Our Community Relations Counselors:
<ul><li>Work closely with the Director of Community Relations to plan and implement lead generation activities that result in generating sufficient qualified inquiries to meet move-in goals.
</li><li>Handle inquiries to the property via phone or drop-in. Must be able to quickly establish rapport and complete a thorough discovery to address prospect needs.
</li><li>Conduct tours of the property. Able to effectively overcome objections and ask for the sale.
</li><li>Conduct personal follow-up with variety of prospects. Able to identify and make recommendations for addressing objections/needs.
</li><li>Complete paperwork and data entry into the lead management system on a daily basis.
</li><li>Keep up-to-date on competition including their strengths, weaknesses and identify ways to overcome any objections.
</li><li>Actively participate in any in-house marketing events, generating resident and prospect referrals, and community outreach efforts.
 </li><li>Conduct networking/outreach activities, including:
<ul><li>One on one appointments
</li><li>Luncheon meetings/presentations
</li><li>Industry related networking meeting
</li><li>Community sponsored industry related expos/conferences
</li><li>Cold calls/drop by visits
</li><li>Off-site educational presentations
</li><li>Public relations opportunities
</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibility, and demonstrate commitment to Culture of Excellence and strategic goals
</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned
</li></ul>What you need to succeed:
<ul><li>Bachelor's in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field, or, the equivalent combination of education/experience
</li><li>The ability to speak, read and comprehend the English language
</li><li>Direct sales and/or marketing experience required
</li><li>Must be upbeat, positive, flexible and enthusiastic
</li><li>Basic understanding of the senior industry
</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products
</li><li>Proficiency with lead management/tracking software
</li><li>2-5 years of sales experience, ideally in senior living, real estate, healthcare or hospitality
</li><li>senior living sales experience preferred but not required
</li><li>Schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 9:00am &ndash; 5:30pm with occasional need to accommodate evening tours and events
</li><li>Experience with CRM systems
</li><li>Touring and closing
</li><li>Working with families and caregivers
</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills
</li><li>Empathy and ability to build trust with seniors and families
</li><li>Goal-oriented focus, able to meet move-in targets</li></ul></div>
