Counseling Practice Seeking Part-Time Office Receptionist/SchedulerWe are a counseling practice with two locations in Moriches and Smithtown, seeking a part-time Office Receptionist/Scheduler with strong communication skills and prior healthcare experience. This is a W-2 position. At this time, we do not offer medical benefits.Schedule &amp; Locations:<ul><li>Tuesday: 10:00 AM &ndash; 6:00 PM (Moriches)</li><li>Wednesday: 10:00 AM &ndash; 6:00 PM (Moriches)</li><li>Thursday: 10:00 AM &ndash; 2:00 PM (Smithtown)</li><li>Saturday: 8:00 AM &ndash; 2:00 PM (Moriches)</li></ul>Medical schedulers serve as the primary point of contact for all incoming inquiries, including appointment scheduling and general questions about the practice. Strong communication skills are essential, as this role directly impacts each patient&rsquo;s experience and overall impression of the practice.Having phone etiquette while answering phones/emails efficiently.<ul><li>Proven experience with managing appointments for multiple providers, coordinating reoccurring appointments, closing gab, and rescheduling cancelations in Therapy Notes calendar.</li><li>Insurance verifications experience; calling insurance carriers and experience with insurance portals for verifications.</li><li>Ensuring the office stays organized, runs efficiently and ability to use office equipment and scan, fax email.</li><li>Communicate/follow up with the staff.</li><li>Aware of HIPAA Guidelines.</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Work Location: In person
