Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Work with fabric suppliers to select appropriate materials for designs.</li><li>Preparing supplier and shipment invoices</li><li>Modify and adapt designs based on customer feedback, market demand, and production limitations.</li><li>Research and analyze current market trends, consumer preferences, and competition to anticipate demand and create designs that will appeal to the target audience.</li><li>Plan and schedule the production of textile goods, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.</li><li>Develop and maintain pricing strategies for textile products.</li><li>Collaborate with sales teams to create product presentations and marketing materials.</li><li>Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure smooth production processes and timely delivery of textiles.</li><li>Ensure that the final products meet quality standards and design specifications.</li><li>Resolve production-related issues and ensure effective communication between all stakeholders.</li><li>Oversee the quality control process during production to ensure the final product meets the required standards.</li><li>Conduct inspections and resolve any quality or design issues that arise during production.</li><li>Track project costs and manage budgets for design and production.</li><li>Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive prices for raw materials and manufacturing services.</li><li>Stay up-to-date with global textile trends, fashion movements, and technological advancements in fabric production.</li><li>Advocate for the use of sustainable materials and ethical production practices.</li><li>Ensure designs and sourcing align with sustainability and corporate social responsibility goals.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>A degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field. Additional courses in merchandising, marketing, or business management are advantageous.</li><li>1-2 years of experience in textile design, merchandising, or production management.</li><li>Experiences in preparing supplier and shipment invoices</li><li>Strong sense of creativity, with the ability to design textiles that are visually appealing and marketable.</li><li>Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD software), as well as a solid understanding of textile production processes.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, suppliers, and teams.</li><li>Strong attention to detail, especially with regard to design, color accuracy, and fabric quality.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.</li><li>Ability to negotiate prices and terms with suppliers and manufacturers</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have experience in Textile Merchandising and Buying officer role?</li><li>Do you know invoice preparation?</li></ul>Work Location: In person
