 About the Role
 
 
 
 
 
 
 We are looking for a Quantitative Researcher to join our growing commodities research team.
 
 
 You will work on developing, testing, and implementing data-driven trading and forecasting models using quantitative and machine learning techniques.
 
 
 
 
 
 This role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset, programming skills, and a passion for financial markets &mdash; prior experience in commodities is not required.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Develop and test quantitative models for commodity price forecasting and market analysis.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work with time series and alternative datasets to extract predictive signals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Research and implement machine learning algorithms for forecasting and trading strategies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with data engineers and traders to integrate models into production workflows.
 </li>
 <li>
 Continuously monitor model performance and improve robustness and interpretability.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Requirements
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 1&ndash;2 years of experience as a Quantitative Researcher, Data Scientist, or similar analytical role.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong programming skills in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch, etc.).
 </li>
 <li>
 Solid understanding of statistics, econometrics, and machine learning.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with time series modeling (ARIMA, XGBoost, LSTM, etc.) is a plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
 </li>
 <li>
 Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a research-driven environment.
 </li>

 Exposure to financial markets, especially commodities or macro data.
 </li>

 Qualifications

 Strong knowledge of SQL and Python, and enthusiasm for learning new languages when needed

 Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field

 3+ years of experience in machine learning, data science, or AI engineering
 </li>

 Proficiency in Python and ML/AI libraries (Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain)
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of the ML model lifecycle, API-based architectures, and cloud-native deployment
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly
 </li>

 Experience with software implementation
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong background in mathematical modeling, operations research, and statistical approaches
 </li>

 Strong background in time series models
