About the Role
This entry-level role is designed for a recent college graduate with a passion for understanding people, trends and culture shifts. It will support the Consumer Insights teams with data analysis, trend tracking and insight generation &ndash; providing learning opportunities while helping the business stay close to evolving consumer needs.
This role is a foundational opportunity for someone looking to grow a career in consumer insights, data storytelling, or cultural intelligence. You&rsquo;ll be exposed to industry-leading tools and guided by a supportive team committed to learning, mentoring, and hands-on development.
We are open to remote candidates, but preference will be given to those in the Bay Area. 
Key Responsibilities 
<ul><li>Support the team in gathering and analyzing consumer behavior data using platforms such as Kantar, IWSR, and Circana (training provided)
</li><li>Help maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI or Tableau with guidance
</li><li>Conduct desk research and compile findings on emerging trends and cultural shifts
</li><li>Assist in assembling key team deliverables such as trend reports, newsletters, and insight digests
</li><li>Participate in social listening and support early-stage trend spotting across digital channels
</li><li>Help coordinate internal insight-sharing sessions or learning events
</li><li>Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, report formatting, and file organization
</li>Learn and develop skills in AI-assisted research tools and analytics platforms over time

</li></ul>About you
<ul><li>You are a recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Psychology, Sociology, Communications, Data Science, or a related field
</li><li>You have a curious mindset and genuine interest in consumer behavior and trends
</li><li>You have basic familiarity with Excel or other spreadsheet tools
</li><li>You have strong written and verbal communication skills
</li>You are excited to learn new tools and methods, including Power BI, Tableau, and AI platforms

<ul><li>You have exposure to market research or social media analytics through coursework, internships, or personal projects
</li><li>You have familiarity with data visualization, behavioral science, or digital marketing

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is $31.25 to $36.00 per hour and other benefits. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data. Our expectation is that the incumbent will work out of our Napa location. If the incumbent works out of another location, the wage rate may fall above or below this range. Treasury reserves the right to modify the range in the future.</div>
