Trellis Services is hiring one-on-one instructors to work with children and adolescents (ages 10 to 21) with autism in their homes and in the community. This part-time position (4 to 40 hours per week-afternoons, evenings and weekends) is ideal for someone who wants to make a difference in the life of a child! Responsibilities:
<div>
As a Trellis autism instructor, you will work under the supervision of one of our experienced Case Managers and gain experience using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.</div><ul><li>
Provide one-on-one support with community independence, daily living and recreation/leisure</li><li>
Flexible schedules; afternoon, evening and weekend shifts</li><li>
Opportunities available throughout Maryland including Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford, Howard and Talbot counties</li><li>
Ability to advance into other roles at Trellis</li><li>
Great foundation for a career in special education and related fields</li></ul><div>

Qualifications:

Requirements:</div><ul><li>
Meet the minimum age requirement of 18</li><li>
Eligibility to work in the United States.</li><li>
The ability to pass a background check.</li><li>
Minimum 100 hours of working/volunteer/personal experience with individuals with developmental delays</li><li>
Reliable transportation/Valid Driver's License/Current Auto Insurance</li></ul><div>
Physical requirements vary and are based on specific client assignments. You may be asked to engage in any of the following: push, pull, lift up to 35 pounds, and move quickly, according to client needs. It is necessary to be able to sit on the floor, stoop, stand, walk, and run.</div><div></div><div><br>
