The Role 
The Business Development Manager, Inbound &amp; Broker Growth is a quota-carrying individual contributor focused on converting demand and expanding Tres Health&rsquo;s existing broker channel through conversion of inbound leads and broker growth.
What You&rsquo;ll Own
Inbound Conversion<ul><li>
Own timely follow-through on inbound leads (Marketing generated) and open opportunities through to converted business.</li><li>
Serve as the primary point of contact for brokers evaluating Tres Health plans, coordinating internally with underwriting, TPA, and operations to move quotes to close.</li><li>
Facilitate open enrollment and broker presentations on Tres products, services, and technology on an as needed basis.</li></ul>
Broker Development<ul><li>
Prioritize and develop brokers already onboarded to the Tres Health platform to grow the volume and value of business they place with Tres Health.</li><li>
Re-engage low-activity or dormant brokers; convert single-group relationships into repeat, multi-group producers.</li><li>
Match brokers and their SMB clients to the right Tres Health products across level-funded major-medical, MEC/MVP alternatives, and ancillary lines.</li><li>
Engage brokers and build awareness of Tres Health through industry conferences and events.</li><li>
Renewal Support</li><li>
Support annual and/or mid-term renewals to protect and expand the book, partnering with account management and operations.</li></ul>
Pipeline Tracking<ul><li>
Maintain clean, current pipeline and activity data in the CRM.</li><li>
Give leadership an accurate forward view of expected conversions.</li></ul>
Key Metrics<ul><li>
Net-new revenue. This role is measured on incremental revenue generated through net-new conversions and broker expansion.</li><li>
Conversions. Close rate for inbound leads.
</li><li>Renewal expansion. Coverage and plan growth for retained customers.
</li></ul>What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)<ul><li>
Inbound leads are worked to a consistent, measurable close rate, with no leakage from slow follow-up.</li><li>
A meaningful cohort of previously dormant or low-activity long-tail brokers is reactivated and placing business.</li><li>
A repeatable, motion for engaging and growing brokers.</li><li>
Renewal support measurably contributes to retention and in-force growth.</li><li>
What This Role Is Not Responsible For
</li><li>Outbound channel or partnership development.
</li><li>Net new logo identification and conversion.</li><li>
Onboarding or customer success.
</li></ul>Who You Are
Required<ul><li>
Previous Account Management role with broker-facing relationships at a competitor or ancillary carrier; lives in the broker channel day-to-day and already knows how brokers think, buy, and place.</li><li>
A track record of hitting account growth targets in a relationship-driven, channel sales motion.</li><li>
Strong follow-through and responsiveness with the discipline to convert a lead before it goes cold.</li><li>
Comfort as an individual contributor in an early-stage, fast-growing, and remote environment; self-directed, without an inherited playbook.</li></ul>
Strongly Preferred<ul><li>
Familiarity with level-funded, stop-loss, TPA/benefits-administration.
</li><li>Experience selling into or around SMB and grey-collar employer segments.</li></ul>
Work Schedule &amp; Travel 
Full-time, remote position aligned with U.S. business hours. Flexibility required for critical project deadlines, cross-functional meetings, and occasional travel (0&ndash;10%) for team collaboration or vendor engagements.
Remote Work Requirements 
Dedicated home office with reliable, high-speed internet. 
Secure workspace aligned with HIPAA security standards (device encryption, secure Wi-Fi, screen privacy). 
Ability to effectively coordinate and lead projects in a fully remote environment.

This position requires adherence to Tres Health&rsquo;s security and privacy policies, including HIPAA compliance. All employees must complete security training and comply with access management protocols.
Physical Requirements<ul><li>
Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.</li><li>
Ability to communicate effectively through video, phone, and written platforms.</li><li>
Ability to effectively use computers, video conferencing tools, and other standard remote work technology.</li><li>
Visual and auditory capabilities suitable for remote work.</li><li>
Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.</li></ul>
