About the RoleWe are seeking a talented and self-motivated Senior Piping Designer for our local office. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex and challenging design projects within the Power &amp; Energy industry You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and play a key role in delivering high-quality piping design packages from concept through construction.Responsibilities<ul><li>Execute assignments delegated by the Group Supervisor and help drive project objectives.</li><li>Coordinate with drafters, designers, engineers, and support personnel to plan, schedule, and execute project deliverables.</li><li>Produce and manage piping construction drawings, design studies, and bills of materials.</li><li>Assign work and provide training, guidance, and support to designers, checkers, and drafters on small to mid-sized projects.</li><li>Manage segments of projects under the direction of the Group Supervisor.</li><li>Collaborate with clients and construction teams to ensure project requirements are understood and met.</li></ul>Required Qualifications <ul><li>8+ years of piping design experience.</li><li>Experience with Aveva E3D, E3D Design, Aveva 3D, or PDMS</li><li>Experience in Power, LNG, Chemical, or Refinery projects.</li><li>Navisworks experience required for model reviews and clash coordination</li></ul>Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekExperience:<ul><li>Aveva E3D: 2 years (Preferred)</li><li>power industry: 2 years (Preferred)</li><li>Navisworks: 1 year (Preferred)</li><li>Piping Design: 8 years (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Stonington, CT 06378
