WHAT YOU&rsquo;LL DO
As a BLS Dispatcher, you will play a key role as the first line of response in emergency and non-emergency calls.<ul><li>Coordinate the work and activities of EMTs, First Responders and Nurses during emergency and non-emergency transports</li><li>Be courteous and professional to patients, facility employees, co-workers, supervisors and the public at all times</li><li>Receive, prioritize and dispatch calls in computer aided dispatch software (CAD)</li><li>Intake large volume of calls and determine appropriate level of EMS responsible required</li><li>Operate radio communication device, multi-line telephone system and various computer systems</li></ul>
WHAT YOU&rsquo;LL NEED<ul><li>Overnight availability 6p-6a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday</li><li>Dispatch experience is preferred but not required</li><li>Proficient computer skills</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Ability to work in high pressure situations</li><li>Clean background check</li><li>Negative drug screening</li></ul>
