POSITION SUMMARY &amp; MISSION &ndash; Personal Banker

As a Personal Banker you will establish and grow relationships of trust with Tri Counties Bank&rsquo;s customers by listening to them with attention and care, learning about their financial circumstances, assisting them with transactions, and expertly introducing them to products and services that address their needs and goals.

SCOPE &amp; COMPLEXITY

Conduct an average of approximately 12 or more customer conversations daily.

Present to customers the features and benefits of:

Continuously update a customer relationship management database with records of all customer interactions, whether in person, by telephone, or other modes of communication.

Maintain collaborative relationships with other Tri Counties Bank financial services professionals providing specialized services in:

<li>Commercial Lending</li>
<li>Business Corporate &amp; Purchasing Cards</li>
<li>Treasury Management</li>
<li>Merchant Card Services</li>

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES of our Personal Banker
<ul>
<li>Begin with a personal welcome to everyone who calls or comes into a branch. Show the customer they are valued.</li>
<li>Use every customer interaction as an opportunity to have quality conversations and individually understand the financial needs and goals of our customers.</li>
<li>Share your knowledge about Tri Counties Bank services, products, and partners to help your customers&rsquo; save money, make more money or make their banking more convenient.
</li><li>Employ appropriate solutions for your customers. Follow through and honor commitments to ensure their financial needs and goals are fulfilled</li>
</ul>
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul>
<li>Maintain accurate sales records and regularly reviews sales results with Branch Manager and prepares an action plan taking appropriate steps to meet/exceed sales objectives.</li>
<li>Ensure that all customer transactions, ranging from check cashing to cash depositing to loan payments to counting currency and coin, are handled accurately and timely according to guidelines.</li>
<li>Maintain a current understanding of Bank policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Maintain a current understanding of and ensure compliance with regulations that include but are not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, suspicious activity reporting, Reg B/fair Lending, Reg Z/Trust in Lending, Reg DD/Trush in Savings, Expedited Funds Availability Act, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, Community Reinvestment Act and the SAFE Act.</li>
<li>Assist in training branch team members, on product knowledge and skill development when necessary.</li>
<li>Assist other team members in non-primary assigned duties whenever necessary and perform other work-related duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or GED required.</li>
<li>Previous sales and cash handling experience, preferred.</li>
<li>Effective verbal and written communication skills.</li>
<li>Ability to utilize personal computers and Windows based programs.</li>
<li>Able to successfully complete Bank product and sales training courses and appropriate certifications.</li>
<li>Able to be registered as a mortgage loan originator (MLO) in the Nationwide Mortgage License System and Registry (NMLS).</li>

POSITION SUMMARY - Business Relationship Manager I and II

Proactively identifies business prospects through business development efforts and collaboration with various business groups; working closely with Commercial Banking, Treasury Management and Retail Banking to acquire and expand business relationships. Presents a variety of business lending and deposit solutions to meet client needs through profiling and understanding business &amp; industry trends. Using business financial experience, is the primary sales contact for the small business market segment, to maximize small business growth through a proactive service and solutions approach. Responsible for overall relationship profitability.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES - Business Relationship Manager I
<ul><li>Manages and cultivates relationships with business clients, assists them with their financial needs, and promotes banks products and services.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Acquires new business through targeted marketing efforts and proactive outreach and by expanding and nurturing existing client relationships.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Represents the Bank in the community for the purpose of generating additional business and identifying potential CRA opportunities for the bank.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Understands the local market and proactively develops relationships with centers of influence and internal and external networks and referral sources to ensure ongoing growth.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Understands and interprets financial and cash flow statements to assess and analyze financial conditions of companies and industry trends</li></ul>
<ul><li>Delivers exceptional customer service and instils confidence in customers by listening attentively and asking insightful questions to understand the customers&rsquo; needs and preferences and takes prompt actions to address immediate needs.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Adheres to business banking lending processes, policies, procedures, legal, regulatory, audit, and ethical requirements.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ensures all requests are processed accurately and timely. Collaborates with internal and external partners to ensure seamless service delivery and to provide a high-quality customer service experience.</li></ul>

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES - Business Relationship Manager II
<ul><li>Discusses and promotes all Bank products and services to establish complete client relationship and collaborates with business partners, bringing in product specialists to help problem solve or structure a transaction.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Learns and understands the key components of the client&rsquo;s industry, business and personal goals to effectively make recommendations of the bank&rsquo;s products and services that would meet the client&rsquo;s needs.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Collaborates with internal teams, such as credit underwriters, analysts, and customer loan servicing officers to deliver comprehensive banking solutions to clients in a timely manner.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Attends networking and community events to build a strong professional network and represent the bank for the purpose of brand recognition, generating additional business, and identifying potential CRA opportunities for the bank.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Evaluates client&rsquo;s financial health and risk profiles to determine creditworthiness and suitability for different banking products and services.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Stays informed about market trends, industry insights, and regulatory changes to proactively identify opportunities for clients and for the bank.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Understands the local market and proactively develops relationships with centers of influence, and internal and external networks and referral sources to ensure ongoing growth.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Monitors portfolio for quality, risk, and adherence to policy. Works closely with portfolio managers, Management, and Credit Administration, to ensure sound portfolio management, client introductions, and timely resolution of issues.</li></ul>

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER SKILLS PREFERRED - Business Relationship Manager I and II
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent, required. Bachelor's degree preferred.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Proven track record of sales, prospecting new business and enhancing existing relationships.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Business RM I: 3 years of relevant experience in related field, preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Business RM II: 4 years of relevant experience in related field, preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.</li></ul>
<ul><li>A strong understanding of financial products and services, as well as proficiency in financial analysis and risk assessment.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are crucial for building and maintaining relationships with business clients.</li></ul>
