The Vendor Resource Management Pro-Fee Team Lead supports the vendor production teams to ensure proper workflow, consistency, and efficiency in relation to code assignment for reimbursement and reporting purposes. The Team Lead monitors and performs inventory reviews for vendor coding staff in order to validate inventory that is completed within the Service Level Agreement (SLA) timeframe. What you will do in this role:<ul><li>
Assists in managing coding vendor daily workflow (e.g., work queues, worklists, turnaround times)</li><li>
Daily Service Central review and resolution.</li><li>
Attends and/or leads meetings as needed.</li><li>
Assist in facilitating resolution of vendor access issues</li><li>
Performs pre-inventory review of upcoming vendor supported Go Lives</li><li>
Works in collaboration with Central Coding Unit on follow up and resolution of coding related denials and rejections to address any issues.
</li><li>Assists in performing chart reviews for vendors as needed.
</li><li>Keeps manager informed regarding any billing issues and updates on charge entry
</li><li>Actively participates in the review and improvement of processes and services</li><li>
Demonstrates and applies expert level knowledge of medical coding practices and concepts; assists in ensuring vendor coders adherence with coding guidelines and policy</li><li>
Communicates as appropriate with the vendor staff and CCU to ensure proper account resolution</li><li>
Answers abstracting and process questions from vendors.</li><li>
Fosters an environment of teamwork and work excellence within the vendor coding teams.
</li><li>Maintains good working relationships with the coding vendors and Parallon stakeholders</li><li>
Meets all educational requirements as stated in current Company policy.</li><li>
Reviews all official data quality standards, coding guidelines, Company policies and procedures, and clinical/medical resources, to include relevant federal regulations, to ensure coding knowledge and skills remain current.</li><li>
Performs related work and projects as required.</li></ul>
<h6 class="jobSectionHeader">What qualifications you will need:</h6>
<ul><li>High school diploma or GED required
</li><li>Minimum of two years of Inpatient/Outpatient and/or professional fee coding experience required.
</li><li>Experience in multi-specialty coding preferred.
</li><li>Supervisory experience in healthcare related field preferred
</li><li>Coding certification through AHIMA or AAPC required, CCS or CPC preferred</li></ul>

Job Summary and Qualifications</h5>
The Clinical Informatics Coordinator is responsible for supporting the implementation of and providing ongoing support for corporate/division/facility-wide standardization, utilization, integration, and optimization activities related to the electronic health record and other clinically related technologies. This individual is responsible for coordination, support, and completion of project assessments, project advancements, workflow mapping, tools, and resources focused on Clinical Informatics&rsquo; initiatives including but not limited to provider order entry and documentation, standard clinical documentation, Promoting Interoperability, and other technology that supports clinician workflow. The Clinical Informatics Coordinator will participate in the company-wide community of Informatics by working with Director of Clinical Informatics and facility peers to ensure clinical applications are well supported throughout the facility.
What you will do in this role:<ul><li>
Implement and support corporate and division-wide standardization, utilization, integration, and optimization activities related to the EHR and other clinical informatics initiatives.</li><li>
Develop, execute, and support education plan, tools and resources focused on the EHR and other clinical informatics initiatives.</li><li>
Train and onboard new providers and staff.</li><li>
Support technology implementations that support clinician workflow.</li><li>
Resolve complex issues and requests escalated from to the division Service Desk or other division or health system service resources.</li><li>
Monitor various EHR utilization trends on an ongoing basis.</li><li>
Provide system and operations expertise for implementation of process &amp; system changes.</li><li>
Provide Go-Live support (elbow support) for all applicable implementations.</li><li>
Participate in systems training for project team, serve as Super User for Clinicians.</li><li>
Provide specialized support for physicians. Actively support and promote systems standardization, utilization, and best practices in the area of clinical informatics.</li><li>
Collaborate with division team members on clinical support of the CPN Connect system, as well as application of advanced support of CPN Connect initiatives.</li></ul>
What qualifications you will need:<ul><li>
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Tennessee or compact state preferred.</li><li>
Bachelor of Science in Nursing highly preferred.</li><li>
1-3 years of experience in an acute setting required.</li><li>
1-2 years of experience in Clinical/Health Informatics, clinical application support, or equivalent role preferred.</li></ul>
