<div>The Inventory Control position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock movement, performing cycle counts, and supporting warehouse operations. This role helps ensure products are received, stored, picked, shipped, and counted accurately while helping reduce shortages, overages, damages, and inventory discrepancies.<div> 
Key Responsibilities 
<ul><li>Track incoming and outgoing inventory to maintain accurate stock levels.</li><li>Perform daily, weekly, and scheduled cycle counts as assigned.</li><li>Research and resolve inventory discrepancies between physical counts and system records.</li><li>Verify product locations, quantities, labels, and item numbers in the warehouse management system.</li><li>Assist with receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping, and returns as needed.</li><li>Identify damaged, missing, misplaced, or incorrect inventory and report issues to management.</li><li>Maintain clean, organized, and accurate inventory storage areas.</li><li>Use scanners, computers, reports, and warehouse systems to update inventory information.</li><li>Support inventory audits and help prepare reports for supervisors or management.</li><li>Follow company safety procedures, warehouse policies, and inventory control standards.</li></ul></div><div> 
Required Qualifications 
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred.</li><li>Previous warehouse, inventory, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience preferred.</li><li>Basic computer skills and ability to use inventory systems, scanners, or warehouse software.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers, item codes, and product locations.</li><li>Ability to communicate clearly with warehouse staff, supervisors, purchasing, and other departments.</li><li>Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions.</li><li>Dependable attendance and willingness to support other warehouse duties when needed.</li></ul></div><div> 
Physical Requirements 
<ul><li>Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift.</li><li>Ability to lift and move products as required by company policy.</li><li>Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with changing temperatures and moderate noise levels.</li><li>Ability to safely operate or work around warehouse equipment as assigned and authorized.</li></ul></div> 
Work Schedule and Reporting 
This position typically works in a warehouse setting and reports to the Warehouse Manager, Inventory Manager, Operations Manager, or assigned supervisor. Work hours may vary based on business needs, inventory counts, shipment schedules, and operational demands.
