Elo Cakes, Kuriachira, ThrissurWe are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our cake manufacturing and distribution unit. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production processes, maintain high-quality standards, optimize inventory and logistics, and lead a team to achieve operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:Production &amp; Quality Management:<ul><li>Oversee the entire cake production process, ensuring timely and efficient manufacturing.</li><li>Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene in compliance with regulatory requirements (FSSAI or local food safety standards).</li><li>Implement production planning, scheduling, and process optimization to maximize output and minimize wastage.</li></ul>Inventory &amp; Supply Chain Management:<ul><li>Manage raw material procurement, storage, and inventory control to avoid shortages or excess.</li><li>Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of quality ingredients and packaging materials.</li><li>Monitor distribution processes to ensure on-time delivery to retail outlets, customers, and distributors.</li></ul>Team Leadership &amp; Training:<ul><li>Lead, motivate, and manage the production, packaging, and distribution teams.</li><li>Conduct training sessions to ensure staff adherence to SOPs, safety protocols, and quality standards.</li><li>Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and implement performance improvement plans when necessary.</li></ul>Process Improvement &amp; Cost Management:<ul><li>Identify areas for operational improvement and implement efficient production techniques.</li><li>Control operational costs while maintaining product quality.</li><li>Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) across production and distribution.</li></ul>Reporting &amp; Compliance:<ul><li>Prepare and present regular operational reports to senior management.</li><li>Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food industry regulations.</li><li>Manage audits and inspections as required.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Production Management, or related field (Master&rsquo;s preferred).</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in food manufacturing, preferably bakery or confectionery.</li><li>Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and distribution logistics.</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.</li><li>Proficiency in ERP/production management software is a plus.</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.</li><li>Opportunity to lead and shape operations in a growing food business.</li><li>Collaborative and dynamic work environment.</li><li>Exposure to modern bakery production and distribution practices.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From &#8377;30,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
