Job description:Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Site Supervision: Supervise daily activities at construction sites, ensuring that work is carried out according to approved plans, designs, and specifications. Oversee the work of contractors, subcontractors, and other site personnel.</li><li>Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all construction work meets quality standards and complies with relevant codes and regulations. Resolve any technical issues that may arise during construction.</li><li>Progress Monitoring: Track the progress of the project, ensuring that milestones are achieved on schedule. Monitor timelines, productivity, and project completion rates, and report any delays or potential issues to management.</li><li>Reporting &amp; Documentation: Prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly site reports, documenting project progress, activities, materials used, labor performance, and any incidents. Ensure that all records are accurate and up to date.</li><li>Safety Oversight: Enforce strict adherence to safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all site personnel. Conduct regular safety checks and report any potential hazards.</li><li>Coordination with Stakeholders: Communicate with project managers, architects, contractors, and clients to ensure that all parties are informed of project status and developments. Act as a liaison between the field and office teams.</li><li>Site Material Management: Monitor and manage the delivery and proper use of materials and equipment on-site, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and cost-effectively.</li><li>Technical Assistance: Provide on-site technical support and guidance to contractors and construction crews to ensure that work is carried out according to engineering standards and specifications.</li><li>Documentation Compliance: Ensure that all project documentation, including drawings, permits, contracts, and approvals, is maintained accurately and is easily accessible for review.</li><li>Problem Solving: Identify and address site-specific challenges or problems that arise during construction, providing immediate solutions to minimize downtime and maintain project flow.</li><li>Environmental &amp; Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with environmental regulations and local building codes. Conduct site inspections to ensure environmental sustainability practices are followed.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.</li><li>Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on site supervision, project management, or construction management.</li><li>Licensing: Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred, or working towards certification.</li><li>Software Skills: Proficiency in civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).</li><li>Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of civil engineering design principles, construction techniques, and building codes.</li><li>Reporting Skills: Strong ability to prepare and present clear and concise reports, as well as update stakeholders on project status.</li><li>Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
