Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Window Fitter to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining windows across various building sites. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a back ground in window fitting. Bonus paid for every unit fitted taking the basic wage well above the national average.Responsibilities<ul><li>Measure, cut, and install windows accurately according to project specifications and schematics</li><li>Remove old or damaged windows safely and efficiently before fitting new units</li><li>Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised fabrication equipment to complete installations</li><li>Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards</li><li>Assist with site preparation, including scaffolding setup and surface preparation such as plastering or masonry work if required</li><li>Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget</li><li>Conduct quality checks on completed installations to ensure durability and proper fitment</li><li>Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience in window fitting or related construction trades such as roofing, carpentry, or masonry is highly desirable</li><li>Knowledge of construction painting, schematics reading, and fabrication techniques will be advantageous</li><li>Familiarity with plumbing, electrical systems, welding, or masonry can be beneficial but is not essential</li><li>Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment is required</li><li>Previous exposure to working on-site in various environments including scaffolding or elevated platforms is preferred</li><li>Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately</li><li>Demonstrated commitment to health and safety standards within the construction sector</li></ul>Pay: From &pound;33,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Company car</li></ul>Work Location: In person
