Position Summary
This position will be part of a team responsible for supporting program execution within the ICS Business Unit. The Project Engineer will partner with the Program Manager to ensure effective coordination across disciplines, facilitate sprint execution, document team activities, and ensure technical performance meets customer needs. The project engineer will serve as a key enabler for agile delivery by partnering with engineering leads to support backlog management, organize sprint schedules, and promote continuous improvement and a customer focus. They may own and optimize the Atlassian tool suite (Jira and Confluence) to provide transparency, track progress, and maintain high-quality documentation while providing feedback to the Program Manager and managing the integrated master schedule. The position requires the ability to foster collaboration, coach team members on program execution priorities, and help ensure that program goals are delivered on schedule with a focus on customer value.
Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>
Support Program Manager in planning, executing, and monitoring project sprint cycles.</li><li>
Maintain and administer Jira boards, workflows, dashboards, and metrics to track progress against milestones.</li><li>
Develop and maintain engineering schedules and milestones within the Integrated Master Schedule.</li><li>
Track and report on program performance, including task completion, backlog health, and sprint velocity.</li><li>
Coordinate tasking across teams to ensure alignment with program schedules and objectives.</li><li>
Facilitate sprint cycles such as planning, standups, retrospectives, and demos as required.</li><li>
Identify process improvements, recommend best practices for agile adoption, and support continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>
Serve as a technical point of contact for internal stakeholders and customer representatives.</li><li>
Prepare engineering documentation, reports, and presentations to support program reviews and customer deliverables.</li><li>
Track and maintain program technical documentation to include schedules, priorities, design decisions, and architecture decisions made by others.</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Required Qualifications<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree and a minimum of 6 years of related experience working in an agile environment (or 10 total years in lieu of a degree).</li><li>
Proficiency with Atlassian Jira and Confluence for project tracking, reporting, and documentation.</li><li>
Strong understanding of agile methodologies, sprint management, and backlog prioritization.</li><li>
Experience supporting project managers in scheduling, reporting, and task coordination.</li><li>
Excellent organizational and documentation skills.</li><li>
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical teams and customers.</li><li>
Ability to produce clear, concise reports and dashboards for management and customer review.</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>
Agile or Scrum certification (e.g., CSM, SAFe)</li><li>
Experience supporting Department of Defense or similarly regulated environments.</li><li>
Familiarity with CUI requirements for project documentation and information handling.</li><li>
Exposure to other project management tools (e.g., MS Project).</li></ul>

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our dynamic team building embedded systems and space electronics. The Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects from conception to completion. This role bridges the gap between technical engineering and project management, ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards, timelines, and budget constraints.
Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables</li><li>
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies</li><li>
Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines</li><li>
Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle</li><li>
Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and senior management</li><li>
Ensure process and quality compliance through the development lifecycle</li><li>
Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project success</li><li>
Be a servant-leader to the team, removing blockers and fostering collaboration</li><li>
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)</li><li>
Monitor KPIs and adjust plans to meet performance targets</li><li>
Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimization</li><li>
Ability to support travel or off-site work, as needed.</li><li>

Required Qualifications<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering (or related technical field) and 6 years of related experience, OR 4 years of related experience with a Master&rsquo;s degree.</li><li>
Experience with PCB design, hardware bring-up, and electronics manufacturing processes</li><li>
Working knowledge of engineering principles and project lifecycle management</li><li>
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD)</li><li>
4+ years of experience in embedded systems development</li><li>
2+ years of experience in project engineering or project management</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>
PMP or PE certification</li><li>
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)</li><li>
Experience delivering space qualified products</li></ul>
