Job Summary:
Trileaf is seeking a FULL-TIME Senior Environmental Project Scientist with at least 2 years of field experience conducting environmental due diligence work on commercial real estate projects, to include Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (Phase I ESAs). This position is located in the Austin area. Candidates will work on-site.<ul><li>
Travel to project location, take detailed notes and photographs of site as needed</li><li>
Conducting interviews, in person, via email, and phone</li><li>
Performing regulatory agency file reviews</li><li>
Reviewing historical data (including topographic maps, Sanborn fire insurance maps, city directories, and aerial photographs)</li><li>
Prepare and Review of Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessment Reports</li><li>
Perform QA/QC of field notes</li><li>
Conducting field work to collect samples of potentially contaminated subsurface media (soil, groundwater, and soil vapor) and/or indoor air</li><li>
Compare analytical contaminant data collected to applicable regulatory standards</li></ul>
 Basic Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications / Experience:<ul><li>
Licensed Asbestos Inspector (optional not required)</li><li>
Lead Based Paint Inspector (optional not required)</li><li>
NEPA Assessments</li><li>
40 hrs./active HAZWOPER Certification</li><li>
Transaction Screen Assessments (ASTM E1528)</li><li>
Environmental Professional (EP)</li></ul>
Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or higher in Biology, Environmental Science, Geology, Geography or related fields
