Summary
The Assistant Site Manager role is for participants in the TRIMEDX Clinical Engineering Leadership Program with the desired outcome of promotion to a Clinical Engineering Site Manager role. As part of the leadership program, participants are expected to learn all competencies needed to become a successful Site Manager. The leadership program focuses on: leading clinical engineering initiatives to provide superior customer service and operational efficiency by managing the execution of the TRIMEDX Medical Equipment Management Plan (MEMP). In this position, participants will be expected to manage operations on a day-to-day basis, collaborate and maintain positive relationships with customers, work to develop associates, and provide a communication channel between hospital executives and the TRIMEDX Central Office. Additionally, they will be asked to learn to direct Joint Commission inspections and ensure that TRIMEDX services are following regulatory standards. This position includes a hands-on service component in general biomedical support.
Responsibilities
Leadership
<ul><li>Apply knowledge and experience of technology and/or equipment to oversee site operations and provide direction to others</li><li>
Invest in learning TRIMEDX policies and procedures including</li><li>
Motivate others through praise, recognition, and rewards</li><li>
Manage personnel by staffing and scheduling technicians in a manner that assures the best service possible</li><li>
Coach and mentor technicians by providing feedback on performance and documentation habits</li><li>
Developing leadership skills while indirectly or directly leading a team of clinical associates</li><li>
Develop others to continuously achieve long and short term business results while managing initiatives multidirectionally</li></ul>
Administer MEMP to Key Performance Measures
<ul><li>Manage Service Operations functions, such as service contracts and resources. Document the demand labor, demand parts, labor, contracts, labor, and parts</li><li>
Answer questions and meet with others to discern the root cause of technological/process problems</li><li>
Manage inventory of shop supplies</li><li>
Develop service strategies with an outlook of continuous process improvement and provide metrics to TRIMEDX Central Office</li><li>
Manage Joint Commission inspections and make sure open work orders are made a priority and that performance assurance inspections are documented</li></ul>
Account Management &amp; Development
<ul><li>Build and maintain relationships with customers by employing interpersonal and conflict management skills</li><li>
Effectively collaborate with customers and vendors to develop win-win solutions</li><li>
Monitor each modality after setting financial and performance benchmarks</li><li>
Identify and pursue opportunities for business entry</li><li>
Manage financial performance</li></ul>
Functional/Technical Service
Will shadow technicians and learn the following areas:<ul><li>
Perform scheduled maintenance, electrical safety inspections (ESI), and operation verification procedures (OVP) on medical devices</li><li>
Install and calibrate medical devices</li><li>
Perform troubleshooting, service, and repairs of medical equipment</li><li>
Advise users of equipment status and ensure all service and documentation is complete, timely, and accurate</li><li>
Complete Incoming Inspections (II) to maintain a complete and accurate inventory of medical devices</li></ul><ul><li>
Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time</li><li>
Must be willing to relocate</li><li>
All other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Skills and Experience<ul><li>
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required</li><li>
Ability to manage day-to-day and long term site operations</li><li>
Ability to lead, motivate, and develop others</li><li>
Ability to perform basic financial analysis and calculate budgets, revenue, and costs</li><li>
Strong written, verbal, and presentational communication skills</li><li>
High learning agility and ability to ramp up quickly</li><li>
Ability to learn data insights and sharing business objectives with customers based on asset data</li></ul>
Education and Qualifications<ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in engineering, technological or business field required (or equivalent experience), OR Associate&rsquo;s degree in engineering or technological discipline (or equivalent experience) with 3 years of experience in the clinical engineering field.</li><li>
Technical certification such as A+, CBET, CRES, CLES, or CCE a plus</li></ul>

Summary
The Biomedical Equipment Technician I (BMET I) provides clinical equipment services under the close supervision of TriMedx management. Duties include, but are not limited to, validation and inspection of clinical equipment for completeness, mechanical and electrical safety, and proper operation. The individual also performs planned maintenance inspections, calibrations, and repairs of general biomedical equipment. The BMET I assists other technicians in the troubleshooting and major repair of complex equipment. The individual demonstrates adherence to the TriMedx core values in all professional interactions by showing respect to all people, creating real value, initiating meaningful change, and exhibiting integrity.

Technical Service &ndash; 40%<ul><li>
Perform performance assurance (PA) inspections, scheduled maintenance, electrical safety inspections (ESI), and operation verification procedures (OVP) on general biomedical equipment</li><li>

Inform supervisors of the status of repairs, scheduled inspections, unusual equipment situations, and any customer concerns</li><li>
Work with, direct, and document the activities of subcontractors, vendors, and outside service technicians to ensure proper service delivery</li><li>
Maintain biomedical expertise through ongoing training and education</li><li>
Assist with Service Operations Special Projects as assigned</li></ul>
Regulatory Compliance &ndash; 25%<ul><li>
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the equipment database to include the inventory, performance assurance (PA) schedules, nomenclature, and service history</li><li>
Adhere to the Medical Equipment Management Plan (MEMP), including all regulatory agency compliances and other applicable policies and procedures</li><li>
Responsible for ensuring all service and documentation is complete, timely, and accurate</li></ul>
Account Relationship Management &ndash; 25%<ul><li>

Discuss equipment status and functionality with clinicians</li><li>

Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the equipment database to include inventory, performance assurance (PA) schedules, nomenclature, and service history</li><li>
Make recommendations regarding inventory</li><li>

Skills and Experience<ul><li>
Complex computer skills including the ability to interpret error codes, defragment hard-drives, replace power supplies, and interpret computer codes required</li><li>
Ability to integrate information from a variety of sources</li><li>

Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license required; variable travel requirements depending on primary site that may require use of personal vehicle</li></ul>

2 year degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent experience required. This requirement will be waived if the applicant has received the TRIMEDX Trained Certification or completed an equivalent biomedical related certification program.</li><li>

Summary
The Biomedical Technician II (BMET II) is required to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify the performance of complex biomedical equipment with minimal supervision. The individual should be competent in the use of all applicable test equipment and tools required in the performance of these duties. The BMET II may serve as technical advisor to the medical and clinical staff in the safe operation and use of clinical equipment. This position also assists in developing specifications for the selection of new clinical equipment.
