Job DescriptionWe are seeking and Inside Sales / Design Consultant to join our team!Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist homeowners/builders/designers/fabricators in selecting natural stone and quartz slab materials (countertops) for their projects.</li><li>Connect with customers by asking open-ended questions to assess customer's needs to make relevant merchandise/design suggestions.</li><li>Maintain appearance and organization of products in showroom.</li><li>Complete quotes, sales transactions, and processing of payments in a timely manner.</li><li>Stay current on all product knowledge to better communicate features and benefits to help build customer knowledge and confidence in our products.</li><li>Practice customer focus, collaboration, and communication with team members.</li><li>Maintain excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, providing detailed product information, and following up on client satisfaction.</li><li>Perform additional duties as required or requested.</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills, &amp; Abilities<ul><li>Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.</li><li>Self-motivated with ambition to succeed.</li><li>Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.</li><li>Skilled at making quality decisions and following written and verbal instructions to meet deadlines on tasks and projects.</li><li>General computer skills required.</li><li>Excellent communication skills&mdash;both verbal and written&mdash;to clearly convey ideas and build rapport with clients.</li><li>Organizational skills necessary for managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to learn quickly.</li><li>Positive, energetic team player.</li></ul>Education &amp; Experience Requirements<ul><li>Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design is preferred</li><li>Minimum of 2 years customer service and/or related industry sales experience</li><li>Previous experience in tile, plumbing, stone, and design are preferred</li><li>Awareness and interest of the design industry</li><li>Experience in a showroom environment preferred</li></ul>Compensation/Benefits Offered<ul><li>Hourly</li><li>Employee Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance</li><li>Paid Leave: Holidays/Vacation/Sick/Personal (after 1st completed year)</li></ul>If you possess the required skills and experience and are looking to join a growing company, we would love to meet you!
