<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Your Impact</b></h3>
<ul><li>Maintain and advance the quality system: inspection and test methods, work instructions, procedures, specifications, GMPs, Food Safety compliance, and best practices.</li>
<li>Embed continuous improvement in every process; ensure system adherence and minimize risk to product integrity.</li>
<li>Evaluate production and quality data to disposition finished goods against established specs.</li>
<li>Act as the primary external customer interface for technical and quality support; build relationships and resolve issues fast.</li>
<li>Own root cause investigations and CAPA for customer complaints and internal quality nonconformance&rsquo;s; audit to confirm effectiveness.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Commercial, Product Development, and Corporate Engineering on new business opportunities and product trials.</li>
<li>Process and close coating and mill supplier defective material claims on time and with precision.</li>
<li>Ensure adherence to SMA principles and procedures; lead by example on the floor.</li>
<li>Oversee the HFI system (balance, disposition, re-work, inventory control).</li>
<li>Guarantee completion of quality procedures and documentation.</li>
<li>Translate KPIs into action on the shop floor; implement mechanisms that promote compliance.</li>
<li>Coach leads and supervisors in process quality methods and GMPs.</li>
<li>Prepare and present quality reviews to management; support special projects with Corporate Quality Assurance.</li>
<li>Communicate continuously with all Ardagh Metal Packaging plants; partner with HR on personnel matters; directly supervise plant staff (scope varies).</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Qualifications</b></h3>
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a technical or relevant field.</li>
<li>Minimum 8 years in manufacturing with at least 4 years in quality.</li>
<li>Exceptional leadership, analytical acumen, computer proficiency, and communication skills.</li>
<li>Drive, energy, and the ability to solve complex problems beyond routine pathways.</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Preferred Credentials</b></h3>
<ul><li>Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt knowledge.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience implementing improvement methods in can manufacturing.</li>

Quality Assurance Operations Leader — Beverage Can Manufacturing

Do you excel at synchronizing people, processes, and quality to move a high-volume plant forward? In Roanoke, VA, you will guide manufacturing operations with direct P&amp;L accountability&mdash;owning safety, cost, spoilage, labor absorption, and the execution of strategic customer initiatives.</p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>

Your Core Responsibilities</b></h3><ul><li>
Champion safety&mdash;ensure teams have the right tools and information; institute procedures that drive hazards toward zero.</li><li>
Own quality systems and SPC; investigate and resolve quality issues to root cause.</li><li>
Review reports and requests to protect quality and cost-effectiveness; act decisively.</li><li>
Control costs, including overtime, while supporting labor absorption targets.</li><li>
Partner on personnel matters and employee relations with the Plant Manager &amp; HR.</li><li>
Develop and deliver training and safety programs that enable continuous improvement.</li><li>
Coordinate schedules and staffing with production planning to meet demand.</li><li>
Work closely with corporate on planning and support strategic customer projects.</li><li>
Directly supervise plant personnel; develop employees for future advancement.</li><li>
Take on additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Bring Your Experience</b></h3><ul><li>
Associate&rsquo;s degree or a track record of progressive leadership success in the packaging industry.</li><li>
5+ years of manufacturing management in a high-volume operation.</li><li>
Proven implementation of manufacturing improvement methodologies.</li><li>
Experience leading a self-directed workforce.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Where You&rsquo;ll Work</b></h3><p>
Manufacturing environment with moving machinery and noise; frequent use of computer, cell phone, and printer/fax. Hearing protection and other PPE are required. Temperatures can range from extreme cold (&lt;40 degrees) to extreme heat (&gt;90 degrees). Air may contain fumes, dust, and odors. Expect regular standing, walking, manual dexterity, speaking, and hearing; frequent reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; frequent lifting and moving up to 20 pounds; and vision needs including close and distance vision and color recognition.</p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
