Be part of a high-impact team that designs and delivers cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced and supportive environment.Primary Responsibilities:<ul><li>Collaborate with the mechanical engineering team</li><li>Assist in team coordination, task assignments, and project prioritization</li><li>Mentor less experienced personnel</li><li>Contribute to team output and act as a technical leader (player/coach role)</li><li>Produce and review detailed designs, drawings, and models</li><li>Oversee the design process and progress of others</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>Strong Mechanical Engineering background</li><li>Ability to perform mechanical engineering analysis (structures and parts)</li><li>Experience in:</li><li>Mechanism / machine design</li><li>Metal fabrication technologies (e.g., sheet metal, machining operations)</li><li>Design for manufacturability, time to market, and reliability</li><li>Detail-oriented with experience in:</li><li>Mechanical designs, assemblies, and 3D models</li><li>SolidWorks for design work</li><li>FEA using SimSolid and SolidWorks</li></ul>Ideal Candidate Attributes:<ul><li>Team player with a strong work ethic</li><li>Positive, can-do attitude with a focus on continuous improvement</li><li>Able to self-manage and prioritize tasks</li><li>Responsive to technical requirements</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Ability to document engineering details and processes (Word proficiency a plus)</li><li>Comfortable using or learning Microsoft Office tools (Word and Excel)</li></ul>Preferred (But Not Required) Skills:<ul><li>Hands-on fabrication experience</li><li>Automation experience</li><li>Electrical/controls/systems experience</li><li>AutoCAD experience</li><li>Project management experience</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
