<div><p><b>The opportunity</b></p>
<p>Based in Dubai, the new recruit will advise clients on a diverse range of local company commercial matters within the UAE including Free Zones and help review commercial contracts.</p>
<p><b>What you will be doing</b></p>
<ul><li>Advising on a wide range of company secretarial matters.</li>
<li>Advising on the incorporation of entities within the UAE.</li>
<li>Assisting on drafting commercial agreements.</li>
<li>Assisting on drafting and amending memorandum and articles of association.</li>
<li>Advising on employment law.</li>
</ul>
<p>The new recruit will also be responsible for:</p>
<ul><li>Building, maintaining and developing client relationships.</li>
<li>Assisting on complex due diligence exercises.</li>
<li>Pro-active participation in marketing initiatives.</li>
<li>Participating in firm-wide and departmental training sessions.</li>
<li>Assisting with training and development of junior legal staff.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>What you will need</b></p>
<p>The firm has a Career Development Framework which sets out the competencies we expect of those at this grade. In particular for this role, the ideal candidate will have:</p>
<ul><li>Directly relevant paralegal experience gained at a recognised and busy corporate practice from an international law firm.</li>
<li>Experience gained within the Middle East is an advantage but is not essential.</li>
<li>Law degree/ law conversion and LPC/SQE holder.</li>
<li>Strong research, drafting and organisational skills.</li>
<li>Commitment to exceeding client expectations.</li>
<li>Drive and enthusiasm.</li>
<li>Can do, hardworking and flexible approach.</li>
<li>Commercial awareness.</li>
<li>Interacts well with people at all levels.</li>
<li>Excellent spoken and written Arabic and English skills.</li>
<li>Excellent academic record.</li>
