<div><p><b>The opportunity</b></p>
<p>We are offering the right candidate an exciting opportunity to join Trowers &amp; Hamlins' growing corporate practice in Muscat, Oman.</p>
<p>Our team provides the full range of corporate and commercial advice to international and local clients: we advise clients looking to set up and structure their operations in Oman, advise on company law and company secretarial matters, advise on joint ventures, provide international-quality M&amp;A and VC/PE support, advise on ECM matters, and provide support to clients in their commercial ventures, including distribution, agency, licensing, and franchise agreements.</p>
<p><b>What you will be doing</b></p>
<ul><li>Providing advice on company law matters including government liaison.</li>
<li>Supporting companies in their structuring and set-ups.</li>
<li>Advising on commercial contracts.</li>
<li>Advising on M&amp;A deals, including share and business acquisitions and disposals.</li>
<li>Advising on joint venture and shareholders' agreements.</li>
<li>Advising on public takeovers.</li>
<li>Advising on PE/VC deals.</li>
<li>Advising on equity capital markets regulations and transactions</li>
<li>Advising on private company reorganisations and intra-group transfers.</li>
<li>Working with our other practice areas to provide corporate support.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>What you will need</b></p>
<p>The firm has a Career Development Framework which sets out the competencies we expect based on post qualification experience (PQE). In particular for this role we require someone:</p>
<ul><li>A minimum of 7-8 years PQE of which the majority spent in Oman advising on Oman law.</li>
<li>English-Arabic bilingual.</li>
<li>A blend of local and international experience, so you are as comfortable working on cross-border or local transactions as you are advising on complex matters of Oman black letter law or procedure.</li>
<li>Preferably UK-trained and qualified (or else common law-qualified). Oman qualification also an advantage.</li>
<li>Willing to mentor and support junior members of the team.</li>
<li>Flexibility, positivity and an ability to work effectively in a close-knit office.</li>
<li>An ambition to help develop the firm&rsquo;s business and to grow client relationships, through a range of BD activities.</li>
<li>Strong drafting and communication skills (you will be expected to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and confidently with key clients of the practice).</li>

<div><p>Join Trowers as an Accounts Executive in our Abu Dhabi office. We are seeking a dedicated professional to contribute to our finance team. If you are driven and ready to exceed client expectations, we encourage you to apply.</p>
<p><b>The Role</b></p>
<p>The Accounts Executive will be responsible for a variety of financial tasks to ensure smooth operations.</p>
<ul><li>Manage day-to-day accounting functions for the UAE offices</li>
<li>Arrange and record payments promptly</li>
<li>Maintain and manage petty cash</li>
<li>Record and manage counsel invoices, liaising with counsels as needed</li>
<li>Issue and maintain receipts, posting them to the system</li>
<li>Assist the Office Accountant, especially during holidays and audits</li>
<li>Liaise with billing supervisors and fee earners on billing matters</li>
<li>Generate reports and liaise with fee earners for matter closures</li>
<li>Provide assistance to the International Finance Manager and respond to Head Office queries</li>
</ul>
<p><b>The Candidate</b></p>
<p>The ideal Accounts Executive will possess the following:</p>
<ul><li>At least 4-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in Professional Services Firms</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach</li>
<li>Ability to work autonomously and prioritise tasks effectively</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal skills and commercial awareness</li>
<li>A proactive, flexible, and passionate attitude</li>
