It operates large, integrated plants and plays a vital role in supplying key sectors like manufacturing, construction, and consumer products.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead and facilitate process safety studies (HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA), including scope definition, node selection, documentation, and action closure.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure process safety is embedded across PDP, FEED, and DEP phases, applying inherently safer design principles and safeguarding hierarchy.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review and validate relief, flare, overpressure, and hazardous area concepts in line with API 521 and international standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and review Process Safety Design Philosophy and verify protection layers (instrumented, procedural, mechanical).
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulations, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and reviewing licensor/vendor deliverables.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Chemical Engineering.
 </li>
 <li>
 Formal training or certification in Process Safety is an advantage.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum of 10 years&rsquo; experience in oil &amp; gas, petrochemical, refinery, or chemical processing environments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven hands‑on experience delivering projects across PDP, FEED, and DEP phases is required.
 </li>
