 We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
 
 Electrical Senior Project Engineer
 
 to oversee and manage electrical systems and installations for offshore drilling rigs and oil &amp; gas platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in offshore operations, electrical engineering design, and project execution in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
 
 
 
 
 
 Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead electrical engineering activities for offshore drilling rig and oil &amp; gas installation projects from concept to commissioning.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and review electrical design packages including single-line diagrams, load lists, cable schedules, and equipment specifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, structural, and instrumentation engineers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with international standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, API, ATEX) and offshore regulations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage procurement, installation, and testing of electrical equipment such as switchgear, transformers, MCCs, UPS systems, and lighting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct site surveys, risk assessments, and technical evaluations on offshore platforms and rigs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Supervise contractors and vendors during offshore installation and commissioning phases.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare project documentation including progress reports, technical queries, and change orders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical systems during operations.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications:
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum 7&ndash;10 years of experience in electrical engineering within offshore oil &amp; gas and drilling rig environments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven experience with offshore installations, hazardous area classification, and marine electrical systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of safety and environmental regulations in offshore operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication and leadership skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 PMP or equivalent project management certification.
 </li>
 <li>
 Good experience and understanding of ATEX, IEC Offshore Installation Standards and Oil &amp; Gas electrical installation requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Good knowledge of Classification Society Rules (ABS / DNV) electrical requirements.
 </li>
