We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in the hospitality industry. The Front Desk Agent plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during evening and overnight hours, providing exceptional guest service while managing financial transactions and reports. This position requires a blend of customer service skills and accounting knowledge, making it ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality and guest relations.This position requires availability for 3P-11P and 11P-7A. All employees are required to have weekend availability.Responsibilities:Perform night audits by reviewing and reconciling daily financial transactions and reports.Provide excellent guest services at the front desk, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience for all guests.Manage phone systems to handle incoming calls efficiently and professionally.Maintain accurate records of guest accounts, including check-ins, check-outs, and billing.Assist with any late-night requests from guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly.Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations during night shifts.Prepare reports for management on occupancy rates, revenue, and other key performance indicators.Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.Requirements:Previous experience in hospitality or front desk operations is preferred.Familiarity with night audit procedures is a plus.Strong guest relations skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.Proficiency in using phone systems and hotel management software.Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining attention to detail.Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.A background in hospitality management or related fields is advantageous.If you are passionate about providing outstanding service in the hospitality industry and possess the necessary skills for this role, we encourage you to apply for the position. As a Front Desk Agent, you&rsquo;ll not only be the person they rely on to handle transactions, offer local insights and anticipate every detail of a friction-free experience. You&rsquo;ll also create the warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home.Daily Duties<ul><li>Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner.</li><li>Register guests, issue room keys, provide information on hotel services and room location.</li><li>Must be able to respond to guest issues with a warm and courteous attitude along with a timely response, and follow up.</li><li>Must a have a professional tone and clear speaking voice and will be able to handle issues or complaints which may arise.</li><li>Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions in accordance with established procedures including but not limited to posting all charges, completing cashier and other reports, preparing deposit, and counting/securing assigned bank.</li><li>Communicate any outstanding guest requests or issues to management that may require additional monitoring or follow-up.</li><li>Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner.</li><li>Provide guests with tourist information, directions and local dinning choices.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent required</li><li>Frequently standing up behind the desk and front office areas</li><li>Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds</li><li>Handling objects, products and computer equipment</li><li>Use a keyboard to operate various property management and reservations systems, etc.</li><li>Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with guests and employees.</li><li>Reading and writing abilities as well as basic math skills are utilized often.</li><li>Problem solving, reasoning, motivating and training abilities are often used.</li><li>Shifts &amp;include days, evenings, weekends and holidays.</li></ul>Additional InformationHotel discounts worldwide are available as well as vacation &amp; personal time off days and the chance to work with a great team of people.
