Duties/Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Make sure that all routes are optimized, and the loads are delivered on time.</li>
<li>Maintains knowledge of regulations related to transportation including those related to employee safety, and freight classifications.</li>
<li>Ensures compliance with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, environmental policies, and government regulations.</li>
<li>Performs other related duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
Required Skills/Abilities:
<ul>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li>
<li>Strong supervisory and leadership skills.</li>
<li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Strong logistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.</li>
</ul>
Experience:
<ul>
<li>Experience managing CDL class A drivers.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Operations, Hours of Service regulations, and DOT / State Regulations within the transportation industry</li>
</ul>
Physical Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</li>
<li>Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.</li></ul>
