Role Overview 
We&rsquo;re looking for a performance-obsessed Direct Response Copywriter who understands that great copy doesn&rsquo;t just sound good&mdash;it converts. 
This role sits at the intersection of creative strategy and revenue growth, owning the messaging that drives customer acquisition, retention, and LTV across our DTC channels. You&rsquo;ll write high-converting copy for paid media, email/SMS, landing pages, and funnels&mdash;while continuously testing, iterating, and optimizing based on performance data. 
For the next 5&ndash;6 months, you&rsquo;ll also support blog and SEO content as we expand our organic footprint. This is a temporary component and will not dilute the primary focus on direct response performance.

What You&rsquo;ll Own 
Direct Response Copy (Core Focus)
<ul>
<li>Write and optimize conversion-driven copy across: Paid social ads (Meta, TikTok, YouTube)</li>
</ul><ul><li>Email &amp; SMS campaigns and flows</li>
<li>Landing pages and product detail pages</li>
<li>Advertorials and funnels</li>
</ul><ul><li>Develop high-performing hooks, angles, and messaging frameworks</li>
<li>Partner with creative and media teams to concept and iterate ad creative</li>
<li>Continuously test variations (headlines, offers, positioning) to improve KPIs</li>
<li>Analyze performance data and translate insights into new copy directions</li></ul> 


Testing &amp; Optimization
<ul>
<li>Own copy testing roadmap and iteration cycles</li>
<li>Identify winning messaging and scale it across channels</li>
<li>Balance speed and quality&mdash;shipping frequently while improving performance</li></ul> 


Temporary Blog &amp; SEO Support (5&ndash;6 months)
<ul>
<li>Write or support blog content aligned with SEO and brand goals</li>
<li>Translate product and customer insights into educational, conversion-aware content</li>
<li>Collaborate with SEO or content teams to maintain consistency in voice and messaging</li></ul>

What You Bring
<ul>
<li>3+ years of direct response copywriting experience (DTC or performance marketing preferred)</li>
<li>Proven track record of writing copy that drives measurable results</li>
<li>Deep understanding of:</li>
</ul><ul><li>Customer psychology and buyer intent</li>
<li>Offers, hooks, and urgency</li>
<li>Paid social and lifecycle marketing ecosystems</li>
</ul><ul><li>Experience working closely with paid media, creative, or growth teams</li>
<li>Comfort using data to inform decisions (you don&rsquo;t need to be an analyst, but you use performance insights)</li></ul> 


Bonus Points
<ul>
<li>Experience in DTC, CPG, or subscription businesses</li>
<li>Familiarity with platforms like Klaviyo, Meta Ads, or TikTok Ads</li>
<li>Exposure to SEO or long-form content strategy</li></ul>
