<div><div><b>Job Responsibilities</b></div>
<div><div>This is a full-time, 12-month position reporting to the Associate Athletics Director for Communications and will assist with all phases of the athletics sports information and home athletics event management.<br>
</div><ul><li>Manage all aspects of athletic media relations, serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries, and assist media with information/interviews</li>
<li>Write and disseminate accurate information, including but not limited to press releases, pre-season write-ups, and feature stories to internal and external audiences</li>
<li>Plan, organize and execute all athletic home events, special athletic events, and strategic engagements including organizing, scheduling and staffing such events, event operations and logistics, and coordinating with vendors and partners</li>
<li>Train, supervise, and schedule staff and student workers for home athletic events, ability to travel with teams when needed</li>
<li>Produce, edit, and publish engaging content that aligns with athletics events, branding, and messaging through photos, video, graphics, social media and other creative assets</li>
<li>Manage livestream production, create digital displays, and coordinate in-game presentation</li>
<li>Assist with sports information day-to-day operations, including recording statistics and recordkeeping</li>

<div><div><b>Required Qualifications</b></div>
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree</li>
<li>Demonstrated effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills</li>
<li>Computer proficiencies</li>
<li>Previous involvement with intercollegiate athletics as student-athlete, student worker, or graduate assistant</li>
<li>Ability to work evenings and weekends for home games</li>
</ul>

<ul><li>Experience in event operations and the creation of creative and digital content</li>
<li>Demonstrated proficiency in videography, photography, and graphic design</li>
<li>Knowledge of video editing and production</li>
<li>Computer proficiency specifically with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign &amp; Photoshop)</li>
<li>Working knowledge of the Sidearm Sports content management system</li>
<li>Experience with NCAA live statistics, in-game scoring software</li>

</div><ul><li>Direct the Center for Academic Excellence (CAE).</li>
<li>Lead student success efforts across campus.</li>
<li>Manage and grow existing student success initiatives, housed in CAE, including the Tutoring Center, the Bulldog Scholars and Bounce Back program, and the Coordinated Academic Response Team.</li>
<li>Propose, design, and implement new programs designed to support at-risk populations.</li>
<li>Lead student success efforts across campus.</li>
<li>Personally manage Academic Standards operations, including probation/suspension processes and decisions on academic appeals.</li>
<li>Personally manage Leave of Absence operations.</li>
<li>Serve on the Students of Concern committee.</li>
<li>Act as &ldquo;go-to&rdquo; resource for unique student situations, opaque policy questions, and general student success issues.</li>
<li>Direct efforts to re-connect with students who have withdrawn and are eligible to return, and engage in re-recruitment of those students to the university.</li>
<li>Partner with other university personnel to promote existing student support resources and services.</li>
<li>Work closely with CAE staff, faculty and others to closely monitor performance of students identified as &ldquo;at-risk.&rdquo;</li>
