The team strives to provide innovative services that align with each client's unique business needs.</li></ul>Role Description<ul><li>We&rsquo;re looking for a mid-to-senior level Network/Server Engineer to join our team in a mostly remote capacity. This role combines hands-on technical support with project delivery, giving you the opportunity to both troubleshoot complex environments and build scalable infrastructure solutions.</li></ul>You&rsquo;ll work directly with clients, own technical outcomes, and play a key role in delivering reliable IT environments that support business operations.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>This is a mid-to-senior level role requiring the ability to independently own client issues and projects</li><li>Provide Tier 2/3 support for managed services clients, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of network and server infrastructure</li><li>Design, implement, and deploy network and server projects (e.g., migrations, upgrades, new site deployments, cloud integrations)</li><li>Manage client environments across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud platforms</li><li>Some collaboration with the project management and sales teams to scope and deliver projects on time and within budget</li><li>Document solutions, processes, and configurations for internal and client use</li><li>Participate in on-call rotation (rotated fairly among the team)</li><li>Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>2+ years of hands-on experience in network and server engineering, preferably in a managed services or MSP environment</li><li>Strong expertise with networking technologies (Cisco, WatchGuard, Aruba, firewalls, VPNs, routing/switching, SD-WAN)</li><li>Solid server administration experience (Windows Server, Scale Computing, Linux, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, virtualization &ndash; Hyper-V, etc.)</li><li>Proven track record of both reactive client support and successful project delivery</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment</li><li>Strong communication &amp; interpersonal skills &ndash; you&rsquo;ll be interacting directly with clients and internal teams</li><li>Relevant certifications are a big plus (CCNA, CCNP, Azure Administrator, AWS, MCSA/MCSE, etc.)</li></ul>Bonus Points If You Have<ul><li>Experience with modern cloud-first environments (Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365)</li><li>Familiarity with scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python)</li><li>Previous experience mentoring junior technicians</li><li>A passion for process improvement and documentation</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Mostly remote with occasional onsite client visits in Southeast Wisconsin (typically a few times a month)</li><li>Salary range $75,000 &ndash; $90,000 based on experience</li><li>Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, 401(k) match)</li><li>Professional development budget and certification reimbursement</li><li>Collaborative team environment with regular virtual team-building</li><li>Opportunity to work on diverse projects and grow your career in IT infrastructure</li><li>We leverage modern MSP tools including RMM, documentation platforms, and standardized deployment processes to ensure efficiency and consistency.</li></ul>Location<ul><li>We are only looking for someone from SE Wisconsin or Northern IL.</li></ul>If this sounds like you and you want to be a part of one of the fastest growing IT providers in Southeast Wisconsin, we would love to chat with you.
