The Suite Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service with a positive and upbeat attitude while accurately and efficiently ordering, delivering, setting up, serving, and breaking down food and beverage. 
Job Requirements:<ul><li>
Must have the ability to communicate clearly and congenially with guests about SAP services, products, programs and events</li><li>
Must have the ability to communicate verbally with guests and co-workers in English with some understanding of Spanish</li><li>
Must be able to read and comprehend orders on mobile device and printed tickets</li><li>
Must be able to lift and carry fifty (50) pounds, also twist, bend, push, pull, turn and reach</li><li>
Must be able to stand for entire shift, walk up and down stairs, and walk long distances during the shift</li><li>
Must have expert knowledge of Santa Anita Park Suite locations in order to accurately and quickly deliver guest orders</li><li>
Must be able to troubleshoot technology in case device malfunctions in order to maintain constant flow of information</li><li>
Able to accurately ring in all F&amp;B orders and follow appropriate cash handling policy</li><li>
Has superior customer service and problem resolution abilities</li><li>
Has Food Handler&rsquo;s card and understands basic hygiene and sanitation</li><li>
Must maintain a positive and upbeat attitude</li></ul> 
Job Duties:<ul><li>
Works as a team with other Suite Attendants and Captain to provide the highest level of service to each suite guest and owner</li><li>
Reviews and understands Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and Function Sheets at the beginning of each shift and ensures each suite is set accordingly</li><li>
Greets and engages all guests and owners on arrival</li><li>
Reviews BEOs with group host on arrival to confirm accuracy of order, timeline and other details</li><li>
Uses handheld technology (mobile) device to take guest orders, check existing orders, or process payment</li><li>
Ensures a la carte orders are accurate and delivered with the appropriate condiments and utensils</li><li>
Have a good understanding of food and beverage menu items, and able to communicate details of those items to guests when asked</li><li>
Manage buffet or reception station replenishing and cleanliness</li><li>
Have a good working knowledge of cocktails, wine and beer menu, including specialty cocktails. Serve Alcoholic and Non-alcoholic drinks promptly and accurately for service following SAP Alcohol Policies. Properly open and pour wine and champagne.</li><li>
Completes side duties as assigned before, during, and after service including restocking complimentary items, paper goods, glassware and any additional assigned tasks from Captain or Management</li><li>
Serves as an ambassador for the online system by answering questions about the online ordering platform, pick-ups &amp; deliveries, and the benefits of using the system</li><li>
Assists guests in placing online orders or order troubleshooting</li><li>
Resolves guest issues in a timely fashion, or escalates to the appropriate manager</li><li>
Collaborates with Captain and Manager to create opportunities to go above and beyond to create memorable events for guests and owners.</li><li>
Keeps staging areas, jack trays and guest suites organized and free of clutter. Removes trash and dirty dishes on a timely basis to ensure high level of service and clean suite appearance.</li><li>
Maintains appropriate health and safety standards according to County codes, guidelines, and SAP standards</li><li>
Supports other tasks as needed by F&amp;B management</li></ul></div>

The Premium Host/Hostess is responsible for greeting guests and providing an exemplary first impression in premium areas of the venue with a positive and upbeat attitude.
Job Requirements:<ul><li>

Must have the ability to communicate verbally with guests and co-workers in English with some understanding of Spanish</li><li>
Must have expert knowledge of Santa Anita Park locations in order to assist guests with directional and other questions</li><li>
Must be able to lift and carry fifty (50) pounds, also twist, bend, push, pull, turn and reach</li><li>
Must be able to stand for entire shift, walk up and down stairs, and walk long distances during the shift</li><li>
Must be able to learn and utilize ticketing technology</li><li>
Must be able to troubleshoot technology in case device malfunctions in order to maintain constant flow of information</li><li>

Job Duties:<ul><li>

Directs guests to their ticketed table; walks VIP guests to their table when possible</li><li>
Oversees AM setup to ensure each table and chairs are clean, has the appropriate number of seats, and any collateral is placed on the table</li><li>
Reports facility issues (broken tables, chairs, tvs) to the appropriate manager/department in a timely fashion</li><li>
Oversees the seating areas to ensure guests are seated accurately and efficiently, and special requests or needs are accommodated where possible.</li><li>
Uses ticketing technology to locate guest table assignments and alternate seating as needed</li><li>
Monitors VIP seating to ensure only the ticketed guests are seated in that area</li><li>
Engages with guests to ensure they&rsquo;re happy with food and service</li><li>
Ensures guest areas are kept clean and trash or dirty dishes are removed promptly</li><li>
Provides opportunities to surprise and delight VIP guests to ensure a memorable experience</li><li>
Serves as an ambassador for Santa Anita Park by providing directions, troubleshooting guest issues, and promoting the venue and events</li><li>
Assists guests with mobile ordering technology by answering questions about the online ordering platform, and the benefits of using the system, or escalates guest issues in a timely fashion to the appropriate manager</li><li>
Coordinates VIP credits with F&amp;B managers and other departments as needed</li><li>
Communicates credit info to appropriate guests and SAP employees in a timely manner</li><li>
Supports other tasks as needed by F&amp;B management</li></ul></div>
