<div>1. POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Associate performs an array of functions, including processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing, processing orders for shipment, and organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. 
2. POSITION EXPECTATIONS
<ul><li>Carefully handles, moves, and accurately stores product</li><li>
Collaborates with other teams to handle inbound and outbound product</li><li>
Ensures inbound and outbound order accuracy is maintained by reading labels, comparing against documentation, and inspecting for mismatches</li><li>
Inspects product thoroughly for concealed damages and reports any findings according to company procedure
</li><li>Loads and unloads product onto or from carts, pallets, conveyor systems, or warehouse equipment or shelving</li><li>
Carefully handles, lifts, carries, loads, secures, and unloads materials, products, and tools
</li><li>Participates in general facility upkeep and maintaining a tidy workspace by emptying trash receptacles, compacting recyclable materials, and removing trash, debris, obstacles, and hazards throughout the workday</li><li>
Assists installers and drivers by sorting and loading outbound merchandise onto vehicles as needed</li><li>
Assists internal and external customers by moving, loading, and unloading merchandise as directed</li><li>
Operates and maintains company equipment and tools responsibly, without damage or loss, and within company safety guidelines</li><li>
Uses safe and careful carrying and transportation techniques at all times, especially while carrying on stairs or performing a team lift
</li><li>Adheres to all company safety guidelines and protocols outlined in the company&rsquo;s safety handbook</li><li>
Maintains clear and timely communication with supervisor, including updates and concerns</li><li>
Builds a familiarity with the company&rsquo;s product, including brands</li><li>
Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential</li><li>
Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, procedures, and regulations</li><li>
Other duties as assigned</li></ul>
3. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
4. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS &amp; SKILLS
Education, Certifications, and /or Licenses: 
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred</li><li>
Certification in standard warehouse equipment preferred, including sitting or standing forklift and reach truck</li></ul>
Experience: 
<ul><li>1 year&rsquo;s experience in a warehouse environment preferred
</li><li>Experience in wholesale workspace furniture industry a plus</li></ul>
Knowledge/Skills:
<ul><li>Knowledge of safe use of tools and equipment preferred</li><li>
Proficiency with basic math skills
</li><li>Proficiency with PCs and basic computer software</li><li>
Excellent presentation, listening, verbal, and written communication skills</li><li>
Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team; willingness to roll up sleeves and help the team</li><li>
Ability to manage and organize time to meet objectives and deadlines
</li><li>Lives and leads by TSRC values and serves as an example of the best we want to see in our team

5. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be required to do the following:
<ul><li>Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and ramps</li><li>
Perform activities such as balance, bend/stoop, crouch, kneel, push/pull, reach, squat</li><li>
Move self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments
</li><li>Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods</li><li>
Move about to accomplish tasks or move from one worksite to another</li><li>
Adjust or move objects up to 2,000 lbs. in all directions using proper lifting technique and equipment</li><li>
Lift up to 100 lbs. unassisted
</li><li>Operate machinery, power tools, and standard warehouse material-handling equipment
</li><li>Operate motor vehicles</li><li>
Communicate with others to exchange information</li><li>
Repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers</li><li>
Assess the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work</li></ul>

6. WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the associate regularly works in a fast-paced, noisy, non-temperature-controlled environment, varying between internal warehouse environments, delivery vehicles, outdoors, and internal/external client locations. 
7. COMPENSATION 
<ul><li>Wage range: $18.00 &ndash; 19.00 per hour, paid on a biweekly basis</li><li>
This is a non-benefited position.
